Re: Supercharged Viper Owners, what is your level of excitement when drivin
I have only driven my Supercharged car 3 times due to only having it installed for 5 days, but all I can say is WOW. The car is so much more fun I really can't believe it. For the first time since I bought the car I...
Dimitrios, your intake runners are ported. They are actually not port matched to the head, but rather ported to open the runners themselves. I would love to know what effect porting the runners would do as it is pretty easy to do. Aside from having to pull the whole blower off...
I have a pair in the basement but don't want to put them on until I get some 3M protection. I don't want to sandblast my rear quarter paint. I really need to get it done ASAP as street tires do not hook in 1st from a roll with the ROE, not that I expected them too. Giving rides with spinning...
Those are great races no doubt. I would love to do the same as running nice cars is damn fun. But, lets not get into the my car is cheaper and I beat him thing. There are plenty of cars cheaper than yours that could show you its tail lights. No exotics really move me... but the Diablo is a...
Re: Heffner TT first impression and Pic\'s with new wheels also.
Now that is hot! How does the power compare to the SCed car with NX? I don't think anyone will be taking your crown anytime soon.
Re: What\'s it worth?
I would say the car is worth 55k-58k. If you are just going back to get the forged pistons, I think you would be better served just upgrading your pistons. The amount you will loose in tax will be more than the cost of the pistons.
I have them and like them very much. Not only do they have the slight bend but they are thick walled. With that said, if I had to pay Mopar's $250 price I would not have bought them.
Re: TRI STATE MEMBERS, Mark Your Calendars For The Run Out East III 4/23/05
This is a good event and it is worth the drive if you are thinking about it. If my car is done I am in. I had a good time last time. The only problems were the 1.5 hours it took me to get back across the GW and the...
Re: 1 Lap of NYC , who\'s Viper?
That was Doug Levin's personal car if I am not mistaken. It has changed hands several times since he owned it. That video was taken at Tobey.
Kumho\'s are Wider
The V700's actually have a wider contact patch than the Pilots. The V700's are race tires so they do not have the extra piece of rubber that comes out and hugs the wheel. Street tires have a large rubber lip at the edge of the tire that is suppose to be a rim protector. I...
That is a very nice setup. I didn't realize how narrow the tunnel is until you show a picture of a pump and some filters in there. The loop is a great idea and looks very clean.
Mike, I am glad you posted your experience with the ROE blower. Because of your post I will make sure to check my hood pad closely to see if any rubbing is taking place. A person posting differing opinions on a popular upgrades is healthy for everyone. One thing everyone should not forget is...
Just picked up some Wal-Mart Super Tech Winter formula for my W/M kit and after bringing 15 bottles home I noticed that it is different from the bottles pictured in the other thread. Up here in the north we get the -25 degree stuff. Unfortunately it does not say methanol anywhere on the...
Kenny, Thanks so much for the help, now I know where I am headed tonight! I don't even have my kit but want to stock up before it is gone. I believe it is the same in my area with the de-icing fluids and not having them year-round. Usually Wal-Mart just has the blue stuff which makes no...
Kenny, can you describe the packaging on the bottles you bought? I have been to Wal-Mart and the two types that are made by Wal-Mart do not have any mention of methanol on the packaging. The exact name of the product you bought would help a lot. Thanks,
Sean, can you tell us the name brand of the windshield washer fluid from Wal-Mart? I went there last week and I found 3 different types. The two Wal-Mart brands did not have any mention of methanol. Another brand did and it had 3 numbers like 65/30/2 or something to that effect. I don’t want...
Can someone explain why a NX car would be more prone to this failure versus a SCed car? I would think the cylinder temps would be less in a NX car versus a ROE car for example.
Re: Other than the Viper, what exotic car holds it\'s value well?
Allan, Adam mensioned the chain tensioner and the wiring harness upgrade. Other than those two items, are there any other must do things to pre-94's? Is there a list somewhere online of things that need to be check specifically...
Re: Other than the Viper, what exotic car holds it\'s value well?
Adam, what upgrades are you speaking of? What things must have been to the car before purchasing it?
