Talking quarter mile, a 55 is good for 12.3-12.4's at 112-114 mph, with any living human being with two limbs behind the wheel. As you know, Vipers can run a myriad of times depending on driver but a good one should be able to best the 55.

Holy $hit, the guys on the forum weren't kidding. This car really does get as many or more looks than they said. Driving a spaceship, on fire, is an understatement. Had three seperate strangers take picures of themselves next to the car on the first day, not to mention all the photos, stares...
The 600's are underated as to not show up the 55 models from AMG, hence the identical hp ratings of 493 (500 in Europe due to a slightly different measurement).
Fred, are you going to send the ECU to RENNtech? There is a CL600 running at Bradenton that has clicked off an 11.4 on street tires...
Didn't Treynor have a DLM Procharger for a while but it made so much power and noise that he had to take it off? I thought they got 1100rwhp out of it or something like that but it was "undrivable" with anything but slicks and very noisy.
I think with these huge motors, we are barely taxing...

Well Cudaman, if we are talking accuracy, I'm going to pull out some worthless information gained in my poor, slow past and tell you that it was an Electron Blue Z06. Whatcha think about that!?!

The more power you draw, the more power an alternator puts out (up to its max) and the more draw it puts on the engine to turn it correct? Isn't that why there is a controller on the alternator, to tell it how much...
Ab, you need to become a tuner with all the knowledge you're gaining from these boards. I'm starting to think I could be one just from reading all the posts to your questions. At first, I wondered why you didn't just go to a tuner but now I find all the info streaming in as interesting. If...
Running it all the time may be a drain on the battery and may not let the car warm up quite as quickly when cold or run too cold in cold climates. Just a thought. I know ALL the car companies don't spend all the resources on fan management for nothing.
There is such a thing as too cold...
