He also states at the bottom of the auction that he has other stuff for sale:
In Stock: 2005 Dodge Viper
Viper Yellow, 500 HP, 3.5 sec 0-60
He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.
DC can and should increase the performance of the Viper. Not because of a corvette Z06 that might come out with similar performance, but because DC should be doing to Ford (Ford GT) what GM (Z06) is trying to do to DC (viper). Push the envelope.
This is an era of horsepower wars. Horsepower...
The number one question I get when people stop me while I'm getting into my viper is, "Can you get on the gas a little and screech the tires when you leave?" Of course I oblige and always get big smile and a thumbs up. :2tu: Other popular questions I get from strangers are, "How fast does...
"Speeding is very, very wrong. It's against the law. You should be ashamed. And if you would just drive the speed limit you wouldn't need all these high-priced electronic gadgets."
If there weren't such a huge amount of moronic drivers on the road, we wouldn't have such ridiculously low speed...

Thanks for the kudos guys...
I really didn't mean to take pictures of the neighborhood (otherwise I would have taken a picture of the front of my own house), now that I look back at the pictures I can see that it looks like that's what I might have been doing haha.
Anyways hope you guys...
I was ALSO concerned with the new engine replacement, because of possible resale problems in the future. But at this point I really dont care, because I love the car and I plan on keeping it for a long time, and just enjoying it as much as possible. It doesnt drive any bit different than...
Well I FINALLY got my car back today, 35 days or so since its been in the shop, they put a brand new engine in it. Drove just fine on the way home. It's warmed up since it went into the shop and the car rides so much nicer in the warmer weather, I assume because the run flats arent so hard...
Newest update, well the cars been in the shop since march 14th and it's still sitting there 25 days later. Supposedly it's been approved for the engine to be replaced with a new one from the factory, but that was said 2 weeks ago. Its really such a shame, I really liked the car for the whole...
Thanks for all your info VENOMUS, I really do need to talk to you over the phone maybe tomorrow. I bought the car in Mississippi, registered it in Tennesseee where I live. I would assume the Mississippi Lemon laws would apply for me instead of the Tennesse one. Currently the car is not at the...
If they have to replace my engine, that's going to devalue my car big time. Im not sure if rebuilding it will devalue it, but Im sure it will take a really long time to have it sent off, rebuilt and sent back. I shouldnt have to lose thousands in value because of an engine change on a car that...
It was cylinder #9 for the broken valve spring, and they have their "PROCESS" (phone calls etc) set into motion now on figuring out whether or not they will repair or replace the engine.
Quick update:
Well the Dodge place took a look and said that a valve spring broke, whatever that is. And now he is waiting to hear from someone (whoever makes these big decisions) about whether or not they are going to repair the current engine or send a brand new one. Before they do...
Ive had my 2005 red viper for just under 2 months and have just over 300 miles on it. I just happened to be driving right by the Dodge dealership (at the mall across the street) when I noticed some ticking sounds coming from under the hood and a loss of power. The car died on me. I was able...
246 and 29, had the car for little over 1.5 months, I work from home so I never have to drive the car to work, also on longer trips or bad weather I drive my fx45.
Yes the service you get at the Dodge place is really horrible. Especially if they aren't making a load of cash on the sale as they aren't lately on the Vipers because of the season and the abundance of them in showrooms. I haven't yet had to take my 2005 (220 miles so far) in for...
"Furthermore, the new Z06 (near 80K?) has the about the same curb appeal and performance as the gen 3's"
Are you joking? The new Z06 does not even come close to looking as good as the SRT10. It looks like exactly what it is, a nice looking corvette.
I am 6'5" 200 pounds and I dont have any trouble fitting into my 2005 Srt with the top up. It's a pretty tight fit and I if it was any smaller I wouldnt be able to fit in it too well, but for me its fine. I wouldnt want to take it on a really long trip, but most people dont get vipers for long...
