Okay Dan is making some more progress....
Here are the igniters to be used in the custom conversion to the genIV 10 coil setup... Dan will need to explain the purpose of the igniters if interested.
Here they are mounted to the custom bracket fabricated to fit underneath GenIV intake...
Yup that is the fill kit. I am a distributer for Powertank and actually developed the kit with them specifically for the motion setup. If you purchase it online tell them you know me. If you are still interested in the mounting brackets, let me know. I have some on my shelf that i will...
Ok some more progress. Heads assembled, valve covers installed, coil packs installed and Coil covers installed.... Notice all the pretty stainless ARP hardware - ahhhhhhh.
Mark J. Thanks again for the carbon fiber coil covers. Love them.
Next up Dan is working on completing the custom...
Okay some more progress...
Viper Specialties' oil pickup conversion kit from GenIV to GenIII...
Belanger full exhaust bolted on. I must say they are pretty.
FInally for good measure and some bling, ARP bolts for everything. I know some will ask why? Because I am all about the...
I considered the move to an 08 plus but the finances didn't make sense. also I didn't want to start all over and really wasn't interested in the throttle by wire and cam in cam technology. those are some impressive numbers.
More progress.
Front of motor complete.
Motons and Cross brace back together. You can see the polished Alternator and polished thermostat housing. Cross brack is steel so I had it chromed prior to build.
There was talk about Arrow offering something similar but I guess it never made it to market. They were going to use that manifold found on the Challenger drag car and boy is it ugly. This is a one off build that Dan and I dreamed up.
Some new pics...
Ported lower intake which will require some additional machining for idle air controller and will also be powder coated pearl black. It is a work of art....
Polished Upper intake and thermostat housing. I also had the alternator front cover polished.
Also worth noting...
Thanks Jon. It is coming along. It is killing me not to have it. Cant wait for the first cruise with you guys.
Guys parts still for sale...
1. Quality plug wires
2. Stock GenIII Computer with DC performance tune
3. K&N Setup
4. New SCT tool with Roe Performance tune
PM me if interested.
Guys we have made some progress.
Complete Balenger Exhaust received. We went will Belangers since I was looking to maintain power under the curve instead of maximizing peak power. Also the belangers should maintain low end torque and offset the affects of the big cam.
Belangers installed on...
My car was running all bolt ins. Corsa, hf cats, k&n, single blade throttle body, and a tune. The number is pretty accurate as I ran it prior to the cats and it ran 482 on a completely different dyno.
There is machining involved but I will let dan take that one.
Guys I also wanted to mention that I have a bunch of parts for sale if interested. Here is a list:
1. Gen III polished intake ( I have a prospective buyer)
2. Corsa Track Exhaust
3. Roe High Flow Cats
4. Gen III K&N intake and filters
5. Quality plug wires
6. Stock GenIII Computer with Roe...
Yes we will be bumping compression to 10:5. I also forgot to mention that we are also polishing other stop parts like the thermostat housing, Alternator etc. It is going to look sick!
Thanks for all the comments guys.
For the past year I have been researching how to get more power out of the GenIII engine. Since I didnt want to go the forced induction route, I was looking for a well rounded engine build to put me around 575-600 rwhp but with little or no affect to drivability. I also wanted a cool looking...
