Re: First poor sales transaction on the forums. 08viperviolet
I had mine cleared so if that is original it might not be so easy to get out other than clearing it.
Not sure why the good rubs on it. I tried to put a foam spacer on the hood to protect it from scratching but then the hood...
Dan now I am starting to regret not having this done when I was there. You figure out the rear view camera? Is the mygig more powerful also or do you use the stock amp?
I wonder how that additional 3/4 of an inch would look? The stock setup is tucked in a bit. If done the back will definitely need spacers as the back is already tucked under the car a good bit. That was one of the many issues I have with the stock setup.
For the record I would have paid double for the custom Throttle bodies Dan developed for my build. I am speaking from experience when I say that Dan is likely the most knowledgeable builder/tuner out there in the Viper market place. You want something done right, it costs money. I did...
Remember the genIV is not a "CONVENTIONAL" OHV engine since the cam lift and duration is variable. At roughly 3700 RPM the cam adjusts and creates more lift and duration to create more power on the top end. I am sure someone will chine in for more clarity. Dan where are you when needed?
Well I didnt want to do this but all my original parts from my 2004 are just taking up too much space. Here is what I have for sale:
Original 10 spokes with original run flats with 6000 miles on them (mint condition)
Gen III heads with 20,000 miles
Cam
headers
cats
upper intake manifold...
City driving sounds about right to me. I dont think i ever saw above 11 mpg anywhere.... Good luck with the car. A few light mods will transform the car, particularly an exhaust and most notably a tune...
That is just breakin and no reason to change fluid. The giken is amazing compared to stock diff especially 03-06. Point straight and nail it. What a rush. I did 3.33s at the same time. Great gear.
Lower the car. Will look better but I think the less you see them the better. I went with Dans well more like Dan went with mine since he installed them while my car was there. They disappear and work well.

I am looking for a set of lightweight wheels to accommodate my sport cups to use for street and track. Any reasonably priced suggestions? Must be stock size. I really wanted the ACR wheels but cant find them at all.
Thanks for our insight guys. Oh last comment - must come in black....
