    I have had both hoods. The gen3 did leak behind the hood pad but simply would dry out with the hood up. My pad never stained with soap residue.

    I agree with Dan. The engine gets the same treatment as the exterior of the car. I wash everything. I even hose down the engine bay and blow dry! A good garden blower is your best friend!

    Dan has a solution to the mygig which I think only requirers minor work to radio opening. Again I seriously considered it but in the end stuck with RB1.

    From the looks of the top on the white convertible, it looks like the top fits under or adjacent to the trunk hatch as opposed to sitting on top of it???? Does the coupe rear end make a difference?

    2006 SRT wheels question

    Correct that is the sidewinder in 2006 which came on the copperheads but better known as the ACR rim for 2008 plus ACRs. They are the lightest of the bunch so consider yourself lucky. i am actually looking for a set to use as track wheels.

    Looks like an absolutely perfect day for a Viper cruise and lunch on the ocean. Sunny and 75 degrees with 0 chance of rain. Awesome. Cant wait. I look forward to catching up with all my Viper buddies.
