    2" Seat Lowering Kit Installation

Whatever distance the back of the seat is off the back wall, remember, your knees will be 2 inches lower as well. Don't think it's 3 inches though.

Oh ya, I didn't know what that extra metal piece was for either.:dunno:

    2" Seat Lowering Kit Installation

To align the seat brackets, just stick a screw driver through the hole in the bracket then put the tip of the driver in the hole in the floor and pry it over. That's what I did. With the seat tracks off of it, the whole seat flexes quite easily.:2tu:

    Brake Fade

From that speed mine will make you queasy from the braking force. Also, these cars are capable of repeated stops from that speed on the track, with stock pads, the Gen 3's have phenominal brakes right out of the box. No need to improve them like the Gen 2's. Somethings not right.

Post up the best pic of your SRT

Awesome job on those wheels. Not a fan of black ACR wheels, but the polished lip looks great.:2tu:

    Shock Installation Question '06 Coupe

When I changed out a control arm, I measured the center of the wheel to the fender lip(with car on ground), then when torquing the bushings with the car in the air, I put a jack under the lower control arm till the center of the hub was that distance.

    Gallardo vs. Ford GT

I'd buy the Ford GT, but then again if I was using your money, I'd buy myself both.:D

    Non Body Color Badging

Parts Rack's cost is not out to lunch. It just so happens that the chrome badging you want is the most expensive. It came factory on my special edition, maybe it's rare, does anyone know what else the chrome badging came on?

The Viper is a Rather Cheap Shed Built Supercar if You Could Call it That

Sounds like he's taking Jeremy Clarksons words too literally.

Short Throw Shifters...are they worth it?

I've heard the be all and end all missed shift fix is the woodhouse motor and tranny mounts. I've heard changing out the motor mounts is a bear of a job, so I'm kinda weary to attempt it. Tranny mount switch is a joke though.

    SCT Tuner

I have an SCT tuner from Roe Racing, and can say the biggest improvement is driving in hot conditions. Normally, when the car reads high ambient temperatures it added a bunch more fuel, or wasw it pull timing:dunno:....... either way, when it was hot I could easily feel it was down on power...

Short Throw Shifters...are they worth it?

BTW, I have the stock shifter with stiffer springs from Woodhouse.

Short Throw Shifters...are they worth it?

I can understand someone wanting a better shifter, but I don't see the need for a shorter shifter.:dunno: The height of the stock shifter puts the ball close to the steering wheel, where your hands should be on a road course. Take a look at any Lamborghini manual stick, they are high as well...

Left knee always bruised after a track day..

I've found both the outside of my left and right knees were sore to the touch after a track day, but no bruises. I seem to brace myself in both left and right handers.:dunno: On long right sweepers I notice the speaker grill popping in and out.

600 Awhp Gtr Scalped My Gen3

If I were to hazard a guess, the new story is to parodize how offended the folks on the other thread are getting over a Viper winning a race. Plus the obvious LanceRomance reference.......... Nice getting killed.:2tu:

    ZR1 Scalping

I think a few people misinterpreted what Aries wrote, from what I garnished from it, he was pointing out mostly how surprised the ZR1 owner was, not how easily he beat it. Obviously if the ZR1 was anywhere close to stock, at speed, the outcome was a forgone conclusion. He was poking fun at...

09 Graphite ACR 4 MILE PRICE DROP

I dunno Greg, the 599 looks like a fish that got squashed down in the middle of its head with a mallet. Probably a nice driver though.

    PSII Tire Pressure

I run 30 on PS2's, and 38 for roadracing(so they last a little longer on the stock alignment). I'm sure Plum meant racing in a straight line.

Yup, as long as the tires are stock diameter.

Yup, just 4 bolts, comes out in one piece. It's a lot easier with the vert, with the top down.

Sun bad for exposed CF ACR wing?

Isn't the clearcoat that 100% protects the exposed carbon fiber bits on the ZR1 like 30000 bucks a gallon? If so, I haven't heard of them using that stuff on ACR bits. I'd avoid unnecessary sunlight.

    Rear End howling

You have to remove the underbody cover to get to the bottom of the diff, but there is a drain plug there, 2 actually, so you can plumb a cooler if you like. I changed my fluid a couple weeks ago. I did use a suction gun to put the fluid IN.
