My stock battery only had 3 starts left in it in a row this spring. Thats with it being on a tender all winter as well. Last year probably should have been its last season anyway, as it weas starting to turn over very sluggish.
Something to keep in mind is that the torque value for the lower long bolt that goes through the clevis is wrong in at least the 2003 shop manual. I found this out after I snapped one........... don't remember what the correct value is however.
Think they will have figured out how to put that power to the ground? The current GT500 can't put it down, at the present levels.
Not meant to be confrontational.........
I agree on the yellow not being the best color on these cars, now blue..............
This is the only pic I have of the G and the Viper together, as there is still snow on the ground. Soon.........
The fitting where the line joins the top of the pump is notorious for leaking, unservicable too, have to buy the hose and one of the fittings separately. Easy change though........
I've had my convertible for a while, and I'll admit, I'm kinda over the whole topless thing.
Mostly cause I don't tan, I burn.... so only certain conditions are ideal for topless motoring for me.
It's definitly a crazy place, especially when most of North America is slow. I bet there's nowhere in the US that pays 15 bucks an hour to start at McDonalds. Or 150 bucks an our for a welder and his truck. :D
I bet if I posted a pic of my 700,000 dollar house, a lot of guys here would laugh...
While I agree with your reasoning about reasons to sell, I think a fire sale price would be significantly higher for those colors. Also, it's summer. Every summer the sale prices go up mysteriously.......... something to do with the weather.
I'd aim for a lower year and more common color for...
Today I was swapping out one of my rear shocks, as an assembly. As I was buttoning everything up, I snapped the lower shock mounting bolt. The manual I have says torque to 140 ft.lbs, which is what I had my wrench set at.
Makes me wonder if I had a bum bolt, or maybe my torque wrench needs to...
I get groceries in mine, if I'm not buying a pile. Although, last time I got carried away, and ended up putting bags in the passenger footwell after the trunk was jammed full.
Had lotsa people looking at me filling it. :D
OEM is $575 at Viper Parts of America website. Plus you get a Venom discount if I'm not mistaken.
Haven't heard too many stock radiator issues, I'd say you're the exception to the rule..........
Before getting too far into it, get an SCT tune from Roe, Viper Specialy or DC, along with a lower temp thermostat. These cars really pull the timing when they get hot when everything is good.
Try this before dumping a whole pile of money into it.
I would have guessed this was the easiest way as well, as I have noticed my door is a little low at the quarter till it hits the striker. At which point it lines up perfectly.
