Have a peak at all the fittings in the system. Seems the o-rings on the hoses are a weak link. Sucks that you have to buy new lines for the fix. They are kinda pricey for what they are, And I know there is at least one line, where one of the fittings is sold separately.
Once you remove the...
I've got the 2" lowering kit, and it does move the seat forward a little to aid in getting the back bolts in, but remember, when the seat is lowered 2" so are your legs and knees. Therefore it should still help with the splayed feeling.
Seems the homelink mirror kit is fairly easy to find, but I wonder, how many were produced with lights underneath the mirror for cars like the Viper which don't have dome lights?
Well, seeing as it seems everyone is missing Captain Name-Dropper, I feel compelled to make everyone feel at home again.
Ahem......... Michal Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Muhammad Ali, Mario Andretti, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Oh ya, and just for good measure, my good buddy...
My power steering hose between the fan and pump sprang a leak between the hose and the threaded fitting as well, right by the thermostat housing. Parts guy didn't know which hose end to order, so I had to call Chuck Tator for the correct info. Mine was loose to the touch as well, I guess thats...
I know it's apples to oranges, but I have an Aero muffler on my catless H1 and love it.
Seems as though it's reasonably loud at idle, and when you step on it, just when you think it's gonna scream, somebody turns down the volume. Like the more exhaust runs through, the more muffling it does...
My father is from the little old town of Brigus, with that bridge. Most roads there are barely wide enough for a full size truck. It must be a blast to speed through there.
If I werre gonna replace the factory amp, I would buy a small 5 channel like an alpine PDX5 or similar, then install it under the passenger seat, where the stock one is.
Then the only wiring you need to run is upgraded power, as the factory power wire to the amp leaves something to be desired.
Bearing in mind I'm no expert, I don't think it's terribly necessary to use a crossover on the mid driver (door speaker) as I don't think there is a lot of power to worry about from the factory amplifier.
I did however reuse the factory (cheapo)crossover that was inline with the factory tweeter...
I've heard this is quite common, and what some guys do is periodically swap the inner and outer pads on the ebrakes to wear out a full set before replacement.
If I remember correctly mine wear unevenly as well.
I haven't looked at my seats, since lowering them, but I wonder could you just stack some washers under the rear mount of the seat to raise only the back. This would effectively lower the front in relation to the rear.:dunno:
Seems to me it would be a cheap experiment, even if it doesn't work.
Problem is, a stripped out interior is only cool if Ferrari does it. If SRT did the same, they would be rideculed terribly for their trouble.
There are different rules for different manufacturers.
My garage has a 10 foot ceiling, and I stack the Viper on top of my 70 Charger no problem at all. Also have an 8 foot high door with regular track height, which doesn't affect working height, because even with the long Charger on there, the door doesn't open back to where the roof is, only the...
