    VCA membership

Been waiting 6 months for mine (1 year free membership). If you've been waiting only 2 months, then I'd say you've got a ways to go yet. I've spoken with them a couple times. Still nada.

    Oooo...my achin' back.

    Rear defuser in Viper Mag

Regardless of looks, it's a no-go for me because it makes cleaning harder. From a cleaning standpoint, you just went from having to clean 2 large openings to having to clean 6 small ones.

Inexpencive but effective exhaust up grade

I'm confused. Did you remove the stock muffers and replaced them with other muffers or did you replace them with staight pipe?

    MOPAR PERFORMANCE Exhaust Prices

The "guy" was I. I have no regrets going with the Mopar exhaust - especially with a price of only $550 vs. $1300+ for the "other" system. I had mine welded only at the joints vs. relying only on the band clamps included with the system. Some folks report the exhaust "slipping" down and...

    Viper Mileage

Help me out. What’s the purpose of your post. Are we supposed to be impressed? Are we supposed to be disgusted ? Are we supposed to be envious? Sounds like you have a “Garage Queen”. Good for you.

    $100,1HOUR,HOWTO/MUST DO,SPEAKER UPGRADE(PICS)

Original post stated that in our cars, green is - and black in +. Still, running a speaker out of phase doesn't hurt it. It just cancels out the sound of the other speakers running in phase.

    Viper Mileage

If you want to put high miles on a Viper, consider leasing one. They'll give you 12,000 miles a year on leases plus you can get a new one every 2 years. The $85,000 you were going to spend on a Viper can be invested at %10 and basically make your least payments. Kind of like having a free...

    Mopar Cat-Back Exhaust

I went with the $550.00 Mopar system Roe sells. I had the system MIG welded on to avoid slippage. Absolutely no regrets so far. I live in a rural area and had no opportunity to hear any exhaust systems before I bought so I figured if I'm buying site-unseen, I'd rather be out $550.00 vs...

    Delivery Items

Thanks for the concern, I did call VCA direct after 2 months. They said don't worry - somtimes it takes 2-3 months. I called them after 3 months. They said don't worry - sometimes it takes 3-4 months. I called them after 4 months. They took my info over the phone but that was a long time...

Best state to live in with a viper?

Even though I’ve been to all 50 states, I’m struggling with this question because there are too many unknowns. For example: 1 – Do you need to be near the water (ocean) 2 – Are you interested in attracting attention (women) 3 – Do you like driving on curving, mountain roads, 4 – Etc. One...

Best state to live in with a viper?

You may as rule out "blue" states right off the bat. You know all those kill-joys and tree-huggers in the blue states are going to tax you to death, and do whatever they can to make things miserable for you just cause you're driving a fun car.

    HELP. Burned exhaust (PIC'S)

Re: HELP. Burned exhaust (PIC\'S) Also wanted to add that I had my Mopar exhaust MIG welded vs. using only the supplied band clamps. Don't know if that has any effect on expansion but it certainly prevents it from slipping down.

    HELP. Burned exhaust (PIC'S)

Re: HELP. Burned exhaust (PIC\'S) I have the exhaust from Mopar Performance. It cost me $550 from Sean Roe. Mechanically, I've had no issues and it doesn't seem to expand like the "other" brand. The picture below is when cold. When hot, it expands only enough to put the tip exactly in the...

    Florida's new drag racing law

Re: Florida\'s new drag racing law Suppose I own a $400,000 S7 or something similar and I race a $4,000 beater. We both loose our cars but the penalty imposed on me is basically 100 times as severe due to the value of my car. Wouldn’t this violate my constitutional rights under the 14th...

Now I'll just need to figure out how to receive FM radio signals with the pathetic antennae they give us.

Today I let the Viper name down....

Should've gotten yellow. Actually, I don't think I'd be any better. It's tough learning how to drive these cars by simply making granny trips down to the Food Lion and back.

    Copperhead/Coupe wheel pics...

Might be a bit tough cleaning brake dust out of that intricate center section. Current wheels have a nice flat center section. One wide pass with your cloth and your done (at least with the center).

    Quaife installed, what a difference!

What makes this even more painful is knowing that SRT-4's come standard with Quaife but not our cars.
  22. 2

How do you find the date an SRT was manufactured?

The info can be gleaned from the VIN on a boat but not the VIN on a car. I've tried.

Someone please post pictures of your Corsa Tips when COLD!!

Perhaps it’s apples and oranges but here are pictures of the tips of my cheap, $550.00 Mopar Performance exhaust when cold. When hot, it expands back so that the tips are exactly in the center. Hope this helps.

    MILEAGE IMPACT ON VALUE

I think a lot depends on whether you plan on selling your car in the open market or trading it in at the dealer. Dealers care a lot less than private individuals. I traded a Ram truck a while back. The dealer didn't even open the hood.
