Yeah that is what I was thinking, that thing looks awesome and it sounds like an absolute BEAST! This just proves to me I think that it is much better $$$$$ wise to buy one with all the mods done then do them myself b/c if that 35K price is right, then he has more then 60+ in it then it would seem.
I don't keep up on pricing at all, but I ran across this and what caught me was the 35K build from Underground Racing and pushing 800 hp for 35K :drive: He's selling for just what the cost of the custom build work was. I don't know I thought one like this would be worth a lot more, even with...
2 ways are best, either a wash in dawn detergent or claying it. You could also use rubbing alcohol, or just go for it, swirl and haze polish will strip it as well but I would wash or clay it first.
Damn that was fast lol, what are these worth? I have a like new Gen 1 with the bag, etc. and was wanting to go for a 3 piece or a hard top and I wouldn't need both.
Ok, I'll ask, what are you getting!!!!?????
I've been getting an itch for a Ferrari 348 and there is a nice one here locally but the maintenance scares me and that is what keeps me from pulling the trigger :(
I do not trust shops either and have always done all my own work, with that said, it really just sounded like the guy was trying to help you out. In fact I don't think I'e ever heard a shop NOT say drop it off and leave it and it will be done at the end of the day I think that is pretty...
Yeah, just follow Junkman's vids and Adam's vids, I think the key is not applying too much product, I still do it lol. If there is a detail clinic put on by an Adam's rep definately go, I organized one with AJ "The Junkman" here in Louisville this summer for my chapter of the VCA, it was a cool...
I just bought the PC7424XP (not from Adam's) and I just pieced my kit together with stuff from them. Start with a pad kit / detail spray / swirl and haze / fine machine polish. That will get you going, plus use code THE JUNKMAN and you will get 10% off. I originally tried to use stuff I...
I thought about the americana, and they recommended it, but I have always wanted to try the buttery wax so I did, don't know if it is any better/worse then anything else, but it went on and off easy so I'm happy.
No, I used the PC polishing system from Adam's. Funny thing is, the better your paint starts to look the more crap you can see. My Dad washes his Austin Healey with a brillo pad lol and is happy as can be. The orginal owner of my Viper I think was the same way.
Thanks......I think :D
Decided to play around with a few of the corrected panels, below is before any correction and after is with swirl and haze / fine polish / brilliant glaze and buttery wax, all from Adams of course :2tu:
