All gens have this problem. It is the worst on gen 3's. Just take the bolt out lock tight it and put it back in. If the balancer has moved change the balancer, the metal in the balancer is softer then the crank. Takes five mintues to do.
I think it is just crazy that people in Ontario go out for a drive in the winter. They use such a heavy amount of salt on our roads in our area. (I don't care how dry they look) The sill's are aluminum on our cars and are poorly coated on the inside of the panel. Add a small amout of salt and...
It is a much better paint job if you clear over the stripes. They don't chip or flake, you can buff them, If you are pulling the clear bra up you don't have to worry about pulling up an edge.

You WILL have a hole in the heat sock on one of the down stream oxygen sensors. When the hole lines up the wiring for the oxygen sensor touches the inner sill and blows the asd fuse. Woodhouse mounts help limit movement, but if you have a mopar ecu unplug the sensors.
On "some" vipers we have seen the downstream oxygen sensor contact the inner part of the sill, it will blow the asd fuse under WOT. This has to do with your belangers and the oxygen sensor placement. Since you are running the mopar ecu unplug the downstreams, you don't need them, they are used...
It is better to repair this when you are using the car during the summer so the oil and dye are cycled throughout the system. Replace the o-rings (simple first) clean everything and a week later inspect the two hoses going the compressor where the aluminum joins the rubber part of the line. They...
I have done several mount installs on Gen 2-3-4 vipers. The trick is to heat the four mount nuts with a torch before removing them, they come off very easly if you heat them. If you don't you have about a 50/50 chance they will break.
Make sure the oil is not leaking between the pinion yoke and pinion. It will look like the oil is coming from the pinion nut. Vipers are bad for this. You need to remove the yoke and add sealant to the splines of the yoke if this is what is leaking.
If you overtighten the nut you will damage...
You really should get someone to look at the leak. A pressure tester and a scan tool that can make sure the cooling fan is actually coming on is a start.

If you keep the top simple it works. Chrysler has nothing but problems with micro switches and all the moving parts on the Sebring. It would be a disaster to put it in a viper
Keep in mind the bolts "should be" Coated to prevent galvanic corrosion. Stock sill bolts and replacements are dacromet coated. The sills are aluminum and the body is steel. This would not be a issue if both parts were made from the same metal

The official Chrysler lesson on the sensors said 10 years or 100k miles (160k Km). The sensors on Viper and Prowler are not in operation when stationary. Some of the other Chrysler group vehicles send information once per hour even when the car is off. I would not change anything unless it is...
Keep in mind Robert that all the Gen 3 and 4's have cast pistons and mopar makes a performance PCM for them. Personally I don't think you can beat a SCT and dc tune. I can paint a line on my temp gauge it never moves off 180 and come e test time I flash it back to stock, pass and put the tune...
Back of the hood down, then go to the front of the hood, remove watch, push down on the front of the hood. Try to position your hands on the hood were the support bar is under the hood. Push closed and make sure both latches click (right and left)
We had a viper in the Ontario club that Canadian tire put their aftermarket universal running light module on. This is what happened. They ran the wiring to close to the steering shaft and the wiring wrapped around it the first time the customer pulled in a parking lot. This pulled a spark plug...
