LOL. It will be slightly louder then a Gen 4 viper during idle and light load. Gen 4 vipers do not come with a crossover from factory, but they were able to keep the noise down with the new "cam in cam" camshaft.
A belanger system on a Gen 3 is louder at idle then a Gen 4 belanger for the same...
Agreed dump the crossover unless you like heat. I have installed countless belanger systems but have yet to see the black finsh. The chrome paint looks great, you will not even want to put the header on the car.
Nitrous can be very safe if you are realistic with your goals. Personally I love the wet shot because I can adjust the air fuel ratio NA and air fuel ratio on NOS separately. Then go to the drag stip run as fast as I can NA. When I have all the shifts perfect then I turn on the bottle.

The computer controls a solenoid that directs oil to the fan. If it was not there you would have an engine light and a code. The fan system works well as long as nothing goes wrong.

Ontariomystic you will have to come out to some Ontario events when it gets warmer. You can listen to the different headers and talk to the some viper owners. Belanger is very popular in Ontario.

Belanger can make the headers however you want, pickle, no pickle, no down stream, upstream in the collector, or in the pipe. Oxygen sensors do not work correctly unless they are hot. You want them as close to the factory distance away from the head as possible.

I voted for the belangers due to the excellent fit and finish. The acx headers are nice as well, the only thing I did not like is they were not coated and they had a gasket between the upper and lower. Belanger had a laser cut flange that almost never leaks.

Gen 4 ones fit straght on. They are twice as thick. You can still break them if you pull the door panel off incorrectly, but I don't think I would be able to crack them just sitting on the car.
