No doubt about it but I decided to run my stock car. I never raced him so he won the event. The GTR guy was a friend so it was all good but he knew and said it would have in another forum. It doesnt matter though because we never raced and he won the event.
My turbo viper scares the crap out of...
I attended an event in California on 2/25. It was very well attended and organized. I ran my turbo viper there and my stock viper. The runway was fine to about 170mph but after that I didnt feel safe. I didnt enter the fastest car contest. I decided to run my stock viper because they allowed...
I am glad there is buzz around the new viper. The viper I saw at VOI was good but not great. Im sure they will make the necessary adjustments to make it great. I am worried about the performance. I have no doubt it will have tons of power. I am sure it will handle great. But will it put the...
Sounds like persistance paid off, glad you finally found your problem. Too bad they didnt try that after my first PM a year and a half ago. Oh well, at least it is fixed. BTW, you looked good out there. Be safe, you have a beautiful car.
Re: Running RICH Data Log Inside. 2002 with Built Engine and Paxton 2 Cents Welcomed
What is your timing curve? You just need to be careful when tuning. Who did your initial tuning?
You should be at 14.7 while cruising. At WOT (Wide openthrottle) you should be at 11.5:1-12:1 but when your at...
If its an RSI stroker motor done right, that is the only way to go! I love roes but a good stroker will run with or out run a roe unless the roe has something special done to it. Also, a go running stroker on nitrous will run 9's. I think the most important thing is to find out the details of...
With the 2 step setup up properly you can build boost at a stand still. You will need to learn how to make adjustments to the RPM within the 2step so you can play with it at the track. If you leave at 5k rpm with the 2 step you will be at maximum boost and probably blow the tires off. You...
Great job! TO beat SW at the drag strip is some accomplishment! You better write that down because it probably wont happen again. SW is a great car guy and an unbelievable driver with many records. Again, way to represent the VIPER!
Your just lucky me and tony dont live by you! Congrats on the win! Sounds like you have some fun events. Keep up the good work. Nice to meet you at VOI. Those were some intense kart sessions at the end of VOI.
I asked the same question with a similiar answer. However, he indicated that the ACR would be much different looking than the standard coupe. He pointed at a picture on the wall that had a significantly different rear end. I thought that was exciting. Looking forward to what the future brings...
Big thanks to all in the VCA who had a part in this great event. It was great to see some old friends and great to make some new ones. There are always going to be some improvements at any event but it was a fantastic event put on by some great people.
Loved the track! I had more fun on the go...
I saw the new viper, it was good. Dans description was very good and accurate. I will just add a few things. First, the wheels were awesome, so was the oblong ovalish side exhaust. There was alot of carbon fiber, especially in the rear. THere were two air vents/intakes on the side, one behind...
