Don't tell him Dave! When I told Tony what my door was doing because of the broken fastener, he said he would give me the fastener as long as I paid his shipping fee!! :omg:
:D
Once it cools down to below 120* in my garage, I'll take the door back apart and post a pic of the broken fastener...
The WON site was a great read. They didn't have any V10 kits, and their generic fuel injected kit is good for up to 150hp. I'll be doing a lot of research over the next month or so. Once I pull the plug, it will definitely be tuned prior to any track runs.
Thanks! This is exactly the info I'm looking for. Who did your bottles? Looks nice! Also, where did you get the bottle bracket? I also plan on a dual bottle set up, and definitely do not prefer the basic clamp styles that come with the setup.
That's actually pretty damn close to what it sounds like. The probem is easily solved by riding solo. :D It'll get it fixed soon. I just need to find the right fastener. Looks like this:
Back to Tony's shipping charge...... lol
Shut up Chad!! My door makes no such sound.
The passenger door is a another story. And yes, the passenger door still sounds like a giant rubberband when it's closed. :D
If I can somehow make my car louder, that would solve the noise issue. Hmmm..... :lmao:
Damn it Tony! That's twice you've kicked me in the balls! It's like the sneaky Ebay deal where the price is $.99 and the buyer never looks at the shipping price, until it's too late. :D
I can only tell you my experience with the Hurst. I had it installed a few months ago. At first, it was very "notchy." After several hundred miles of use, the notchiness has totally gone away and it shifts smooth and precise. The throw is MUCH shorter than stock, although that's a given...
I do not believe the car has to be running. I haven't used mine in quite some time, so I can't recall the actual process. Try this:
-From the Main Menu, go to Vehicle Info and press select
-Go to Read DTC and follow the directions- It may have you turn the key on
From there you can look at...
I'm thinking about going the nitrous route to get my power fix. The last time I used nitrous was several years ago on a '02 Z06. I used a dry kit that was hard to tune. I never had any major issues, other than having to run pig rich on the street. This time around, I'm going to go with a wet...
That would be due to Dodge underrating the horsepower, which for some reason manufacturers tend to do from time to time. Hell, sometimes they overrate the horsepower, per the 99(?) Cobra which resulted in a recall and bad press. NOBODY complains when a car is underrated, but it's the complete...
Per tradition of anything negative happening at Tony and Sharon's annual BBQ, I blame it on Chad. I overheard Tony tell the story of Chad and Ashley breaking the bed in the guest room and took a turn for the worse shortly afterwards.
They should be on the PSs, as that was the stock tire.
I wonder if some of those times were achieved at Atco? Some tracks are just "quicker" than others. The trap speeds on some of those runs seem awfully high, although there are the occasional factory freaks. There's no way I could pull a...
LMAO
That's why I stick to low maintenance jobs. I looked right over it the first dozen or so times I looked at it.
If I assumed there was a turbo in there, there would be an epic fail. :D
Any sale price on tunes? Im not happy with my current toon, although I was told there was no way the SCT could come close to what a modified PCM could do. I was told the previous owner must have had the PCM modified. :(
I bought mine over a year ago. That is a KILLER deal for those...
So....... when checking mA, is the proper procedure to disconnect one of the cables on the battery and apply one of the multimeter leads to the disconnected cable and one lead to the "bare" terminal? I want to make sure he's doing this correctly, as it's been a while since I've had to measure...
