Just had the low tire warning come on today. Rt. rear was just below 20 psi. Filled tire back to 30 psi, turned the car back on and let it run for a few minutes and the light reset itself.
The front splitter and rear spoiler slow the acr down in the 1/4 mile because of the downforce created. On the track, it's another story. The downforce helps it stick to the track.
Cant speak for the 08's, but for the 03-06 the deflector is a safety feature. If your snake gets caught in the rain the water will not go directly into the air filters. The access water will drain out the two holes in the front of the box.
Personally I think it looks awesome (TODAY). I have had similar thoughts of going that route in wheel choice. My major concern is how it will look in a few years. 4k-5k is a lot to pay for something to possibly go out of style in a short time.
The car does seem to make low baseline #s from other people hp post. 540-550 is about the average. Your 40 hp gain from an intake an exhaust are exceptionally high. If all 08’s made those types of hp gain from those basic mods, 600 hp would become the norm. I guess what I’m trying to say is...
Thanks for the link Nader. It never made any sense to me to use nitrogen in my tires, because of the high concentration of it in the air we breath. 20- 50 dollars for nitrogen filled tires can be put towards getting new ones.
If you haven't ever had the rear end come out on you, your not driving it hard. That's not a bad thing. You may have learned from other peoples mishaps.
