Thats not the adapter I'm suggesting he use. If he wants to add amps fine, if not just get a his brand to Dodge adapter and plug it in. Mine had a plug on each end, no bare wires to mess with. That's all that has to be done if he wants to use the factory amp. Some head units are 3 v and others...
Mine is on an 03 but works fine. Where did you tap the signal? I was told to use one of the coil taps and configure in the 5 cylinder mode. That's what the instructions said anyway.
Nothing unless you are adding amps. If you use the adapter plug it will run the signal thru the factory amp. The rca's on my head unit are 5amp and not suitable to tie into the factory amp.

Great job but a question. What are the panels made of, fiberglass and what is the weight differential? I'm sure I have enough hp to handle the increase if any and a little extra weight in the rear would only be a benefit traction wise.

How did you come to that conclusion based on the chart that was mathamatically calculated and not based on a real car's performance? His calculations don't take any one of a hundred variables into account.

I'm hitting mine way too often with the Paxton and 355's. That's why I just installed a shift light to avoid this. I agree that the power curve flattens about 5,500 so why push it higher. I much prefer the bounce type rather than the total power cut that the gen 3's have.
I'm getting some blow by after adding the Paxton. Can some of you post photos of your set ups so I can figure this out. I have a separator on the right side and a vented filler cap on the driver's side. It's blowing mainly out the driver's. I can't seem to be able to find a screw in separator...
