    Aftermarket exhaust, keep the PopPopPop

If you decide that you want the pop pop sound, you should listen to the mopar RACE exhaust. It is an exhaust system that is a straight through design (3 inch piping). It eliminates both catalytic converters, and the heat issue is completely gone after the installation. The car sounds...

    Ready to take the plunge

I too come from owning a 2004 M3 coupe, and also a 2002 M5. On the M5, I had waterpump issues at 12k miles. There was green stuff all over the inside of the motor. The car was nothing but a headache. It was a great daily driver. The viper is a completely different animal. I do not use it...

Come on in... The water is nice.....

That means you haven't been out very much. With all due respect, if you think that there have been more Gen III's produced so far in comparison to Gen I and II, then you have a serious problem. On another note, the reason you probably see more Gen III's being driven is because people actually...

Come on in... The water is nice.....

Nice. If I ever decide to own another Gen II..which one day I probably will, I will perhaps purchase a 96 or 97 model. It must be blue and white. I have always wanted one, but I didn't want to buy an older car. Now that I look at it, I see that it is the car and color combo that made me fall...

Come on in... The water is nice.....

Well, give it a year or two. After a while, the panels and especially the doors on the vehicle start to magically come out of alignment and need to be adjusted. The car is put together like a kit car. Don't get me wrong, I loved the car, but in the end, when I drove the SRT 10, I noticed that...

New Comp Coupe style hood from Autoform

Those pics definitely show how good the hood looks. I will definitely be thinking about getting one now. :) No front spoiler for me though

Come on in... The water is nice.....

Yea bro, i've been there done that with the blinded Gen II foofers. I mean, I love the car, still do, no doubt about it, it's still a classic. However, the car is starting to get dated, and the Gen III is a better car in EVERY way. There is absolutely no doubt. When panels and door don't line...

Exhaust installation question, help please :D

thanks bro. So you think I should let it heat up and then test? When they are cold where should they be sitting? Also, when they are warm, where should the tips be sitting? last question, can you post a picture of your side sill when your door is open? For some reason, I don't think mine are...

Exhaust installation question, help please :D

Ok guys. My car is up on my lift, and I have the exhaust all connected and ready to go. However, upon fitting the side sills back on, I don't think the tips are aligned correctly. Does anyone have a picture of how the exhaust is supposed to line up exactly? Maybe even give me a slight...

Going over a speed bump, I hear a chime every once in a while...

I was driving to put some gas in the snake this morning, and I heard a chime, kind of like when you don't have your seat belt on. It only chimed once, and that is when I went over the speed bump. No lights came on...just a chime. What is this? thanks

    "PC" Gen 3 heads up...

Re: \"PC\" Gen 3 heads up... No, you need a turbo manifold for a turbo, not a header.

    "PC" Gen 3 heads up...

Re: \"PC\" Gen 3 heads up... Im still hoping heffner will have his DIY TT kit done by december-january. Whoever is done with theirs first will have my attention. At the moment, everyone wants 30,000+ for a turbo kit. Can't wait to see what happens next.

    Tough wheel decision..

They do look awesome bro, only thing is, I don't want to go with a wheel someone already has. I know Iforged has the 543 style wheel, but not sure if H.ennessey can get them. I was planning on something a little different. Anyways, how did you like the pirelli's on the 19s? I was gonna go...

New Comp Coupe style hood from Autoform

ViperX, I don't get much water at all in the engine compartment after a wash. Only a few droplets here and there on the sides of the car...like around the reservoirs and such. If You do decide to get the hood and open up the center, it would be a good idea to place something under those vents...

    Major crash at Road America

That can be buffed right out... On a serious note, if you partake in any sort of "speed" competition, doesn't that make your insurance useless?

Big power - What clutch, pp, flywheel combo?

hmm...maybe a group buy is in order? Perhaps if we could bring the price down on such a high quality clutch, I would be in.

    Tough wheel decision..

Im really thinking about ccw wheels bill...just don't know if they would be better than the stock sidewinders...which weigh a helluva lot less than the stock wheels. vipersrt- HRE's are nice, but at the moment, I don't think I can justify the cost of those vs. iforged he.nnessey wheels which...

Need help in Kansas...Car Inspection and Transport

State troopers in Texas are absolutely NOT nice. Don't let anyone tell you differently. They are mostly a bunch of a-holes regardless of your situation. Drive like a grandmother.

Big power - What clutch, pp, flywheel combo?

wow, nice find. Price seems a bit high. Is this normal for C/C applications? If the clutch is infact this good, I might opt for one...however, I don't know how high I plan to take my power levels. 3,000 could get you a lot of things...

    Vipers vs ZO6 General Concerns

My fault then. You replied directly to my post originally, so I thought you were disputing the fact that the factory Zo6 came with Cast pistons.

    Vipers vs ZO6 General Concerns

For a minute there I thought we were talking about the C6 Zo6, not vaporware tupper ware that has not been 100 % verified by anyone but the spy media. From the Zo6 press release. The LS7's specifications include: Unique cylinder block casting with large, 104.8-mm bores and pressed-in...

Big power - What clutch, pp, flywheel combo?

Yes, I am wondering how much this setup will cost as I am doing the blower within the next few months. Also, will the C/C Clutch from RPS mate well with the Fidanza flywheel? Or would I have to use the RPS flywheel?
