Great article... the GTS/SRT clamshell hood is work of art and coming in at only 36.5 pounds for such a large panel is quite amazing... it seems to be a much stiffer structure than the GTS hood of yesteryears too.

Installed a Paxton on my Gen 3 a few years back... dyno'd ~675rwhp which is great power for the dollar with decent reliability. Check out a DLM package if you want to dial in some additional boost for even greater performance gains - Doug knows supercharging well.

The SRT trim is such a step up from the previous gen interior - it plain works but imo the GTS takes it to the next level so it wasn't a difficult decision but really depends what you're looking for. I'm glad SRT provided a trim option level.
The above 3 vids rather convincingly illustrate Gen 5's acceleration dominance over the prior Gen in a material way - impressive. You really didn't think that SRT would put out a car that was 'slower' than the last iteration did you?:nono:

The Cayman is seriously torque challenged. Had one for a loaner when our TT Cayenne was in for service and the car had a difficult time pulling some of the grades here in Austin. I'd be surprised if the Cayman has 100lbs of rear wheel torque under 2500rpm - not to exciting and not much changes...
