Richard...sounds like you may be coming around despite some of the 'issues' that you've
purported to have faced which seemed to have dampened your Viper ownership experience so far. ;)
You may wish to give Bill at call at Visions Of Speed 845.486.1003 he should be able to take care of you.
The Paxton does make a world of difference - go for it. Good luck.
Jay ... maybe but 3.55's are plenty of gear for most as the Gen3 does have more power from the start. 3.55's do sell about 5 to 1 and that says something. Whatever ratio you should choose more than likely you'll enjoy them more than the stock EPA misers.
The car should come standard with 3.55's. Regarding the use of (10) 3/8" ring gear bolts instead of the factory 7/16" ... Gen 1&2's used the 3/8" bolts and plenty are pushing 1000hp+ Enjoy it. :2tu:
Sure you can turn it on and off but the cig lighter isn't real hard to tap into and you'll have piece of mind knowing that your V1 will be operating every time you're motoring. Good luck.
Re: New owner of 2005 SILVER MAMBA 20/200
Congrats on the purchase of your snake. As mentioned above, the Corsa Track will get rid of most all that excess cabin heat and give the car a sound that makes people (and alarms lol) take notice. Enjoy your new ride.
No offence taken as looks are rather subject; by most accounts the GTS is also a great looking car for sure. That said however, there is probably reasonably good chance that after driving an SRT-10 and exploring its handling limits and much improved agronomics/ride you might be even more...
