I told Ralph I wanted the Viper to be more of an American Aston Martin that can be a great DD but give the hardcore guys an ACR with a little HP and less weight. I think he agreed.
Yes...No....Maybe:-/
I think "collectible/valuable/desirable" is all relative. For the price, the performance, looks and exclusivity, i think every Viper is a "collectible/valuable/desirable" sports car.
After hearing what Ralph had to say, I would buy it site unseen. I told him after owning two Vipers I wanted and Aston Martin like Viper for the road and make the ACR for the hardcore guys. Something for everyone.
This is the Viper forum and not the Neon forum. You shouldn't be surprised if some people have deep pockets around here.
if I had the extra garage space "which I'm working on" I'd own two or more Vipers.
I think you'll get it in a few months. It could just be an investment thing.
But how does all that power get to the ground? I think there's more to the Viper than even Ralph is telling. Remember, Ralph is a racer first and foremost.
Come on April. I'm thinking of flying up for the NY show as well.
I think Bob's is right. I think many Viper owners will buy more than one if they have the means and I think MANY none Viper owners will HAVE to own one asap.
The new SRT Viper will raise the bar on all sports cars out their. I'll even go so far as to say, even if you didn't like the looks and...

X2
Mine is sold so I don't think I'll be able to get an 2013 but I'll get one the next year then.
Mark my words "you'll ALL want to get one". Remember who is building it and what they've have done to the sports car world in the past and don't think their pulling any punches now. The Gen V...
That's what makes it safe and enjoyable for ever one. Many people THINK the can drive and if you can then they will sign you off, if not then you need to learn the ropes so you don't take yourself or somebody else out. It's a lot of fun though. Never raced with chin but with many other clubs.
I'll take my next Viper with some creature comforts.
I hope they just make a few variations to please the hard core as well as the posers.
Make an ACR stripped down and light weight and maybe a few more hp and a street version with more leather and cruise control etc. IMO
