Just buy the shocks from H ennessey. They are fairly affordable, and really good. RSI gave me some handy dandy info just like that, and it cost me a fist full of money.
Cutting the springs actually works fne on a Gen 2. With the Gen 3, there isn't enough shock travel if you do it. You'll blow the seals in a couple hundred miles. Ask Brian E!
Re: New classified H1 For sale (pic\'s)
I had several guys ask me to look for one for them. I think Toby wanted a truck, but i can't remember if he ever got one or not. You might check.
I have this kit that I never used that I'll sell for $20+ shipping if you're interested. It's the best out there. http://www.properautocare.com/ragfabcontop.html
You can safely put a blower on a cast car, but you limit yourself on the amount of boost that you can safely run. The rods are strong, but I'd at least do the pistons. If you decide not to replace them, make sure you have the car tuned properly, and don't get greedy.
I'd lose them if I was you, JD. I put the Bellangers on my nitrous car and gained nothing. I wish I had removed the blockage before I put them on the car.
I'm not too big on the windshield sticker either, but I LOVE everything else! ;) Once you get the 20's on, some of the fender gap should disappear. A lot of that has to do with the shorter tires in the back. Leave the calipers red.
