Don't know who he is but... I like this guy.
G-paw always said: "Eat dessert first because you never know how long you got...." but I agree with v10enomous.
^ This is the way to go.
I did what I did a long time ago... I don't know if that kit was available then because I didn't follow the forums in those days. I suspect dave6666 has the best solution..... use the search function. He had a pretty good write up with pics and schematics as I recall.
Cool site. Hope they leave you alone this time...
The 'Dragon' and surrounding areas have been my favorite road trip destination for 20 years now. Be back there soon.
Have a good look though the schematics in your book is my advise.
I'm currently looking for my notes on this little mod. The 'mystery' switch now offers me a manual 'fan on' toggle that buys me time if things are running hot. When I find it I'll post the drawing. Basically it's a ignition...
hahahahahahaha
I just knew we'd see you back here showing off cool un-sale-able, made for home use beer top openers!!! .. and other fun home made items of good use.
- Cheers
^ Glad you're still happy with the job... and yeah, Blake was a huge help and got us finished in one day. I've done a few now and each have been straight forward and trouble-free.
BTW, the guy near me said 3 grand back in '02-03??.... but that may have included wires, plugs etc... ?... I...
At least the first day John (as I did a few years ago). Day 2 and 3 are undecided... I'll probably break away and head south on Sat. to visit friends then loop back up north and follow the BRP home on Sun. In any case, don't count on me at the hotel near Waynesboro. I've had it with that...
Nope. Works fine so far as I can tell.... I see JonB's changed it up a bit since the last time I looked at it though.

A cool local club interest story in there. I haven't been to the MD/VA crab feast but I do own Mike Warner's old car. At least my car has made it to the feast!!
This is a really good place to learn about vipers. Be advised, gen 1 cars are awesome eye-catching machines but they come with a few quirks..... Search around here a bit before you put your money down. I, for one, love the car because of its raw almost unfinished nature but many here might...
I bring mine to same place I take my DDs... (they know me).
Most of the big tire chains have modern equipment and a guy who can do it. If you're new to the place just tell 'em you will be in the shop and watching out for your car.
If it's really an exhaust header tube leak there is no quick fix. You need to have it properly welded/repaired.... If you know where it is you can try some cheap muffler fix-it crap that you spread on the leak then wrap with heat tape then tie off with wire ... but..
This is a Viper!! fix...
Also, I might add that the driver you bought may perform very well in the box dimensions given but I suggest you still run the specs through the Thiele/Small calculations......
What matters is the volume inside the port tube. Want two? just make each 1/2 the size in total volume. The problem comes in when the air velocity moving back and forth through the port makes a 'whoooshing' sound. Hence, a single larger port is normally desired.
Speaker box building is a bit more complicated than many people think. If you have the specs....... I've found AJ free design software to be very helpful:
