I am a fan of road trips of all kinds. Hot, cold, boring? Yep, I've done it too; It's not where you go but how you get there and who you hang with. This trip was great for meeting so many of the people on the forums. Gonna have to re-up my VCA membership....- jdeft1

Anyone selling Gen II wheels??
I picked up a set of those rims with tires for less than a set of new 17" PS2s last year (less than $1k). I kept my perfect, stock gen 1 rims. Your car will look fine with the 18s if you can find a good deal. Guys are dumping those rims for cheap... Keep looking.- jdeft1

Gen 1 mods - cold air intake, exhaust, cooling, and brake lights
First off, it's great to see another gen 1 fan. As for cooling. I'd recommend swapping the radiator fan/shroud and going with the gen II style. (If yours has little plastic doors, you need to swap.) I swapped radiators and fan shroud in my '94 a few years ago.. good mod. I also wired the...- jdeft1

Air Conditioner problem - 1996 RT-10
It's a wiring issue. Look hard at all the connectors between the fusebox and the fan. I promise one is bad(melted) etc...... Good luck!- jdeft1

'95 Head Gasket Job - FYI
I've done four headgasket jobs in my 'shade tree' shop so far (mine, friends, local guys). Good catch on the crossover gasket leak. Believe it or not, the crossover casting on mine had a weep-thru leak! It took me three years to locate it. Drove me crazy for awhile...- jdeft1

Who Sold Their Viper and Came Back After Owning somethiong Else ?
Bought a '94 in '99 ... sold it and bought a POS Bought a '95 in '03 ... sold it and bought a POS Bought a '94 in '08 ... Finally learned my lesson (I think). It's a great old car and I drive the crap out of it often. I love these old Gen 1 Vipers. Cheers- jdeft1

Question on 95 RT10 engine sound
What is it?......... Hummm, My gen 1s all have had a bit valve train noise, but it's usually a bit of start-up 'tick' that quiets down right away. Nothing to worry about. It's fine! It just needs road time. I think you need to drive the $hit out of that car and see how you feel...- jdeft1

Gen 1 Seats -- Driver's Side and Passenger Side interchangable?
'94 .. I do it every three years .... Easy swap. I do it along with my winter maintenance. I swap fluids, Break, Clutch, Coolant, tranny, Diff, Oil...... etc. need it or not.- jdeft1
