I've never seen a car run soooooo hard like the SRT. My first impression was this car is unbelievable :2tu: But dang, it drives hard over bumps. I feel bad for you guys that have dentures. Not knocking the car, it's one of the best DC has to offer so far. Just that it rides HARD :crazy...
That was a good one :) :)
I would think if you lived or drove around sandy, high dusty or construction areas It may be a little hard on the engine. If you do want that piece of mind you could do a leakdown I guess.

Chuck
Any change in exhaust over stock is a better replacement. I really like the Belangers and B&B system. Corsa makes a great catback and so does Borla. The Borla catback is on the loud side - The Corsa is average for sound when cruising but not nearly as loud as the Borla.
If you can locate a stereo specialty shop in your area you should be able to have it done. I know there are some shops that do "custom installation" units and that is ALL they do.

Re: Coming to the Viper family first...One \'hellofa\' deal on a 750hp + Viper!!
Good luck with your new home. You'll be a Viper owner again.

You should have it done professionally. When you have it done you can change the clutches and freshen up the entire assembly. I wouldn't even attempt to do it myself, you need special tools to do the job.

Re: So when\'s the SVS vs DLM vs Heffner competition??
Chuck, If you think I am doing anything other than defending myself from smearing of my name by the DLM guys, then you quite possibly have taken the last few posts out of context.
Max started with insinuating:
1. I was backing down...
Re: So when\'s the SVS vs DLM vs Heffner competition??
Gary,
Your asking me if my response at that time was a smear tactic? Simply put, NO.
You took a quotation from ANOTHER thread and pulled it out of context and are attempting to make words into something they are not. If my statement is...
Re: So when\'s the SVS vs DLM vs Heffner competition??
Paolo,
Your smear campaign against DLM is invalid and tasteless. You have NO idea what you are talking about and your lack of knowledge about DLM products is most evident. You are supportive of Jason Heffner and that SHOULD be the case if...
I think you'd be better off rebuilding your rear so you know what's been done to it and the condition it is in. Buying used components are just what they are.

Joe, great power! I'm very impressed driving 700 mi and going to the track and laying down the numbers. Nice driving by 1TONY1 with NO seat time
Another strong DLM car :) . These cars are insane!
:usa: :usa:

DLM has been around a Loooooong time and started supercharging with Gen I cars first, not with Gen II's. I don't think it's a matter of cost, his Gen systems start 18k installed with an IC? But I don't think you can just bolt a supercharger system on a Gen I without other modifications. The head...
I wouldn't wait to purchase an SRT. The Coupes won't be out for a couple of years. I think by then the Coupe will be the HOT ticket. :usa:

Chuck
I've used the factory battery for some time now. I'm on my second one and lasts with keeping it charged all the time. I would like to wait for the side posts from Optima...... good info thanks

Chuck
Gerald,
Guess what ! I recently beat a bike in my Viper ! I was so proud. My wife taped everything.
It was an '88 Honda CB500
Kill ! Kill ! Kill ! :D
Not fair....the rider was aerodynamically challenged: He was NOT wearing his hi speed slippers
Chuck
I don't call bs on anybody so don't flame me for my comment. This information was passed on to me by a VERY reliable source. I was told that Gary A has nitrous on his car by one of Heffner's customers. I don't know and can't say he used it to run what he claims? I was also told that Paolo is...
