I am trying to decide which to get:

1. Sean Roe Round
2. Sean Roe Oval
3. Random Tech

I currently have stock exhaust with Snake Oyl rear sub-assembly. I want most power and good sound. Please help me decide - pros/cons of each setup.

Thanks

How about none; awesome sound, least heat, cheapest, and the ability to shoot flames :headbang: Con would be having to give a ride to the person who will pass your imissions test lol.

If you still want to stick with Cats, go with RT. awesome sound...but pricey. Metal Substrates are the way to go if they are in your budget.

I went standard RT 3" hi-flows. Did a lot of research and was undecided as you appear to be. Read 1 or two threads referencing a potential problem with the fit of the Roe ovals and the sill covers (they had to be angled in the space just right. I believe Roe rounds are not available in 3".

RT has has a great reputation and they are used by many in hi-performance applications.

No cats = more sound but the potential for a flamethrower out the back. If there is ever a possibility that you might have to be sniffed or if you sell it to someone that has emmission laws, cats off may be a problem.
Good luck!
Let us know what you decide

How about using the "search" feature on this board. No offense, but it seems like there are numerous posts about the same topics over and over again on this board. Isn't there any new information shared on this board. Recently all the new posts seems to be about some kind of exhaust set up or yeah my supercharger and tuner is better than yours. A vast majority of the time the answers people seek are all subjective, especially exhaust. Everyone and their mother has their own opinions about which exhaust sounds better and you'll never get any true answer as everyone thinks the exhaust they bought was the best sounding and of course they got the best deal as well. Sorry for the rant.:) If you can get away with it. Take out the factory cats and replace them with straight pipe. When it's time to smog put them back in. You will gain just as much HP & sound quality doing this with your current set up as buying a whole new system. Good luck

Thanks for the replies.

Viperjoe - that was the kind of info I was looking for - fitment issues. Roe products fit my budget but I also want something that is easy to install.

Redslet - none taken. Yes, I've done the search and I certainly realize there is much subjectivity with many of our mods. I was hoping to see if there were any more different perspective on doing these mods. I would like to do cat-delete but I do not want to mess with 02 simulators.

Thanks again!

Random Tech cats are some of the best cats you can buy if you don't go catless.

Chuck, did you emission's test your viper with the RT cat's. I had to last week and they FAILED on my 00 GTS. I had no choice but to weld back in the factory cat's and retake the test and it easily passed. To top it all off there is little sound difference on my mopar exhaust from RT to Factory cat's,still sound's awesome. The wifey was shaking her head at me and telling me when was I going to learn.Well after this one I think I have.
