    Rear End Clunk

    If everything else looks good it's probably a broken gear, a tooth may be broken off. You have to remove the entire rear end to inspect it. It takes a while and two people. You have to remove the rear exhaust assembly to get to the rear. Cheers, Chuck

    Doug, thanks for the information. I didn't expect to see more than a 120 mph trap speed. Before mods I never got better than 116 trap speed in my GTS. I'm not sure how others have a better mph. Could be driving or just a stronger car. I know the track officials can be strict and many race tracks...

    Tech help needed re: Tuning bugs

    Jason, I have a 98 GTS and have no tuning issues you are talking about and I've had my DLM car for over three years now. I don't know anything about the valve and I don't know of a reason why boost would effect this? Maybe somebody else could answer this or give Doug Levin Motorsports a call...

    David, Fun reading your story about what the guys think the horsepower your going to make! I've had my DLM car on the dyno a few times and you see all these mustangs and fast cars lined up at the dyno and you'd think there going to make big horsepower numbers. They don't even come close .     Look at these nice clean suspension parts (pic)

    I use "Formula 88" on everything! You can buy this stuff any place. Grocery stores, auto parts places, all over town. I clean the engine with it too. I just cover the filter on the supercharger and spray away. Try it ... good stuff. Chuck B

    Supercharger Meltdowns

    Knock sensors are a good idea. But I think when you get to a point when are car starts to knock it may be too late. It only takes less than a second to burn up an engine. Only the more reason to spend the money and buy a system that's been proven to run for years. We just changed the spark plugs...

    The 97 headers are not the same as the factory 99. That I know for sure but I'm not sure about the specifics. Chuck B.

    ENGINE FIRE!!!!

    I don't know why Dodge hasn't found a fix for this problem? I've had my power steering cap come off twice. Luckily, I didn't have a fire. It's on very tight now!!! Chuck B.
