Designed by GM/Lotus built by Mercuiser. The ZR1 was a "OK at best" car with a great engine capable of 800hp+ Naturally Aspirated and still holds several world records.

I'm not the only talking about sales, visit the Gen III section there are threads about it there. Besides prior to the Gen III I've NEVER seen a Viper sit on the lot like there are/were(prior to Katrina) here. I'm NOT saying the car is bad, etc just saying what is going on locally and...
Sorry if I call it like I see it, if you can't accept DC is sleeping on the job than continue to to have your head in the sand. Rather than beg DC to get back in the ball game and up the ante you rathe have your "exclusitivity". My what full circle has the Viper gone. First it was the baddest...
MSRP is $65,000, loaded w/ options comes to $70,000. Those who pay OVER sticker are getting ripped, dealers on the Vette forum are selling them for MSRP
Sure you can BUILD a Viper to be faster than the Stock Z06 but you are missing the point. For the past 10yrs Viper owners have been...
That means nothing other than you have more body flex and chassis flex.
While I'm a convertible LOVER, there is no denying a coupe is better all around car on the track.
What's funny is that the slow times for the coupe (while they are slow) are having people cry foul while the Fast times several DIFFERENT magazines that has made mid 11second passes in the Z06 have the same people screaming BS.
Gotta love it :D
Here's an idea, let's wait until both cars and...
Re: Why is the V10 considered a
There isn't not "set" cubic inches for instace a 400ci Chevy is a Small block while a 396ci is a Big Block, I'm speaking in terms of factory built. To make things interesting there is no suck thing as a Pontiac "Big Block Or Small Block". The 400ci Poncho and...
ALL my cars are run at the track on a regular basis. I'm no poser I actually use my car they way they were intended.
True there has YET to be a head to head shotout, until then we ccan only speculate. BUT so far the numbers APPEAR to be going in the Vettes favor. Not saying either is...
Why is the V10 considered a \"Big Block\"?
I ask this because I'm somewhat baffled. For those who do not know a "TRUE" BB is based on it's bore and configuration. The V10 has somehwat small pistons (Take a look at a 426 Hemi of a Big Block Chevy if you doubt me) compared to traditional big...
While the brakes are VERY good, to say they are the "Best" in production is streaching it. Dive a Porsche Turbo and you will see the difference belive me.
I'm not trying to arguee anything but the FACTS. Fact is I will NOT be buying a Z06 or a SRT, who is the faster car doesn't concern me. BUT once you analyze the information as I did the SRT clearly had the advantage and won like it should have. Like I said I'm not doubting it took place or...
They're not so this was a pencil pushing GM "Big Wig"
I for one TOTALLY believe the story.
1) New Z06 that's not broken in
2) Inexperienced driver of the Z06
3) Modded Viper vs Stock Z06
4) Broken in viper
5) Viper driver who OWNS the car and is more familiar with it
Good kill :2tu:
I too call it like I see 'em man. :) It's sad (yet kinda cool) in a way that once I get the GTS it will be the least powerful (not sure about the slowest) car in my stable. As for as a Vette on every corner I AGREE 100%, not a C6 Z06 on every corner, not gonna happen when production numbers...
Probably want $20,000 OVER the $91,990 MSRP......No Thanks
People here were saying the Z06 and the Coupe were a mere $10K difference in price?? Last I checked $92K- $65K doesn't equal $10K.
What is the SRT vert's MSRP?? Did the price jump on the coupe?
