I don't think they will depreciate as quickly as the C6 Z06. The built on average 6,000 C5 Z06's per year and GM stated the C6 Z06 production numbers "will be much less". Keep in mind they are hand building the LS7 engine rather than mass producing them. A 1995 ZR1 still commands $40-50K...
Yep it had the POTENTIAL to be Bad AZZ like the GTS instead DC did "just Enough" by slapping a hard top on the SRT-10. Even though it will probably be slower than the Z06, atleast owners will have exclusitivity.
They pulled 1.18g in the C6 Z06 in another mag, I have yet to see ANY production Viper pull that to my knowledge. If I'm wrong I'll CERTAINLY admit it.
While I DO like the color you'd think that DC would have picked a color that isn't almost identical to the GM "Sunset Metallic Orhange" "hat has been on Trans-Am's since 1998 and now on the new C6's.
Great color none the less. :2tu:
Drag racing = stock flywheel
Road racing = light flywheel
At launch to heavier flywheel will help you get off the line with increased rotating mass. Well as roadracing it will rev up and decellerate faster, it depends on your poison. :2tu:
Considering the C6R uses the same frame I wouldn't be worried and I'm sure the driveline will be up to task.
As far as numbers GM is said to build around 3,000 units per year so the ratio won't be 100:1.
Guess we'll all just have to wait and see. :2tu:
No way is the Z06 going to replace an exotic like Ferrari/Lambo no more than a Viper will, NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
While the Z06 and Viper can offer the same if not more performance neither car will EVER have the exclusitivity/staus of the Exotics.
Well two mags run times with in 2/10 of each other yet you believe the slower time.
MT ran 11.5, C&D 11.7 and R&T ran 12.3, but of course you're going w/ 12.3. Wow that's not suprising. LOL
