jtvr4, first you talk about the vr4 than the z06. what the [******] is your problem, tell me where your at and I can arrange a viper with less hp to spank your tired ass vr-4. Vr-4 are out, maybe 12 years ago they were fast. So go back to your vr4 forums and man learn how to drive your viper...

I think you were low balled(sp) by the dealer since they knew you were not a buyer. Go back and be serious, they will add gas guzzler, dest. charges, etc. well you get my point.
Vr4 are crap! who cares if it has 538awhp if it weighs 4000lbs. The only advantage it has is off the line and that's it. How come you don't see anymore vr-4 at import drag events?
just to be safe, I would. You may not need them if your going to run on street tires only. My stock ones have held up many runs at the track with close to 700 rwtq.

to guarantee a good run, launch real low. launch at 1500 and stomp on the gas. make sure you shift fast that will make the biggest difference in the world.
The things you're talking about are simple things to check on the car, any dealer will do it. Not all cars have these problems. If you get it, have it checked out before you start your every day driving.

Big carrot does have a nice set up, every ones set up is nice and different in a very good way. Nitrous has a lot of potential. I have a very simple set up and I make 605/690 with 150 shot.

Devin, Have you seen or tried the MSD digital rpm switch? That one does not need to be modified. I just ordered it and will see how it works, it's all digital so it doesn't need any rpm modules to mess with.
I was not talking dealer add-ons. I saw a conv with every option, including power top, nav, susp. and it was almost $65k. The $70k I was talking about included taxes. If your going to get a vette, you might as well get it loaded. If you are getting a viper, who cares, it's a VIPER.
If I had a comp coupe, I would drive it around my neighborhood. I'm sure someone would post on the internet that they saw a new viper coupe around their neighborhood.
