Double Park is not bad and they seem to sell a few lifts. Did I buy one? NO. They are in Kansas and I am in Kansas and I still did not buy one. They make reference that they support ANSI 153.1 (1990 standard) but this was replaced with ANSI/ALI ALCTV (1998 Standard). It could be that DoubleP...
I go through the same thing.
I never press the clutch unless I am shifting or stopping. Once at a standstill, you should be in neutral.
Yes, you will wear out the throwout bearing by holding the clutch in all the time.
Your car comes with Dexron III in the tranny. Switching to gear lube...
Ryck,
I think you are nuts. You have a 300 mile PERFECT 97 GTS and you are the original owner.
Everyone UPGRADES from an RT10 to a GTS. You are going backwards.
You must like that open cockpit.
Lets talk about it at the Dirty Bird, when do you want to go? You know the girls love...
Here we go again. Mike had that 96 GTS one owner that I told him was worth some money. Sold it in a week for 63k+. Too low, it would have brought more.
Now Nelson has a MSO car for a few bucks more...it is worth it! Blue and White RT's are RARE!
Now you are complaining about a MSO car for...
Kory,
The "Box encryption code" stays on the left side. I don't see what John is talking about, do you?
This box is asking for a 10 digit code. They give you a BC code and a serial number. Where does the serial number go?
I did not think you needed a BC code unless the code was locked?
I like the Stock wheels. I just sent mine off to be chromed.
We just put a set of 546 HREs on Rycks car. Hmm...Stock looked almost better. HRE are not race wheels and have broken on the track.
Forgelines sticks out too far. The offset is wrong. The factory wheels line up with the sidesills...
Most European horns are "Hi Low" dual tone sound. I like that sound much better also. Beats the HONK HONK of the standard Dodge horn.
F355... you have a 2001. I am thinking... your horn location is different because of the AntiLock brake system. I think yours is near the suspension. Most...
I used "Horseless Carriage" to send my car to Kansas City. ZERO complaints. They transport a lot of high end cars. They were also far from the most expensive. The Mom and Pop operations were almost double the price. My personal experience was VERY good.
Their Web Site
Mike,
I told you that car was worth more. Our worst enemy are some of the guys on this board. They want to low ball all the prices. The car you had was basically brand new off the truck. How many of these cars are left? True collectors will pay a PREMIUM for these type of cars. I said the car...
Jon, The 998 recall puts a piece in the way. Your 02 does not get the recall.
GTSnake, You can get them on without a compressor. Put the top bolt in first. Then use a large flat blade screw driver to wedge up the base of the shock. Use a flash light to look through the hole to get it lined up...
I noticed Mikes signature also. I thought he was on his 9th Viper. What a piece of work. All those Vipers being owned by a Ford dealer! That has got to say something for our cars.
Ryck, You need to buy that 96. Then you can have one stock and one for racing. I am telling you, that car is worth...
Mike,
Apparently Olathe Ford is getting two GTs? They are asking $300k each. I am sure a Royals or Chiefs player will have no problem laying down the cash. Thats only a few minutes of play on the field.
I am loosing sleep over this blue and white 96. Do you take bad checks? How about a bus...
Mike do you remember when Rocket Ryck found that 1996 with 12 miles? It was on MSO and they would not take 100k !!!
Man...I would buy it. But I can't justify two Vipers right now. My next Viper will most likely be a Blue/White. 38 miles!!! WOW.
But if I bought a 1996 with that low of mileage...
You can get the original shaft off on one side but the other side is tight. 998 recall ....you need to remove the shock/spring to clear the larger after market shaft.
The shock/spring is tight. I use a spring compressor to pull the tension off. Putting it back on, put the top bolt through...
Kevin,
I think Dave is talking about Tranny whine, not rear end.
Dave, mine does it too. Only 5th and 6th. It's never given me a problem. But the noise is there.
Jerry
I think you have to look at the total numbers. Sure they may "net" you the Mamba but then low ball you on your RT.
I would be real surprised if you could drive one for a year and sell it for that price.
Someone let me drive their Mamba and let me see for myself that it actually gets more...
