I think you mean QUICKER, not FASTER. I have yet to see a Mustang that can go 185-192 mph like the gen IIs, or 194 mph like the gen IIIs.
Once you get to triple digits speeds, those cars will quickly stop pulling.

Just like what Ford is doing with the GT40...I bet in some 20 or so years, they will be designing a "retro" viper with a Gen 2 look.
I think for the people who buy lambos, the price gap is a non-issue. For example, the Mustang Cobra guys will argue that they get "similar performance" for half the price, but us viper owners don't really care.
I think lots of people don't like to admit it, but what you are saying is entirely true. For example, When I saw my first Lamborghini Diablo it didn't have to grow on me, I was immediately hooked and awestruck. While not a bad car at all, I can't say that for the SRT-10.

Lol, I only meant from the side view. The profile looks *generally* the same, with similarly shaped for the side vents. Of course these cars are not exactly the same. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this car is not as easily distinguishable for the general public...
