I'd say 70% of the fights we have are about whos turn it is to drive the Viper. This is a woman who knows how to appreciate a good vehicle, hence why I married her. :)
Naturally, the only appropriate transportation for the bride and groom was our beloved RT/10. In case there were any doubts as to the quality of this woman, note the last picture where she is taking care of a spot on the windshield while in a wedding dress. :)
Eh, my Gen I is a classic as far as I'm concerned. :-)
Regardless, the number of cool cars there is jaw-dropping, so that is more my reason for going, to soak up the automotive scenery.
Kurt, I think Grace and I were gonna roll down sometime Friday night provided the weather was good...
And...
Moundir,
Shame to see you part with the car... your videos were always entertaining and really added life to the community (well, if not here, over at the A l l e y at least!)
Well, what the vendor should realize is, if a customer complains about the rounding they should take it away- now for the sake of 60 cents, they've alienated a customer.
Well, with all the hype surrounding NXT, I picked up a bottle this week and did a small section of my hood as a trial on Thurs night. The last time the car was waxed was about this time last year.
The ease of application of NXT is absolutely great, and when I buffed it off, the area had a...

Bonkers said that last year there were quite a few Vipers there.
Not to take anything away from the Viper, but the Z06 comes "close" for just over half the price of the Viper. Even as a Viper owner myself, the Z06 gets my "bang for the buck" award.
I guess I'll post mine.

Some luck thrown in here and there.
Looking to start my own business when the right idea comes along.
Here is my custom paint, done for purely cosmetic reasons. Cost in the neighborhood of $7k and is an absolute A+ quality job... I love it. Just a tad deeper red than stock.
"Clown shoe" is the common derogitory term Vette owners use against our cars.
I actually got flipped off today for absolutely no reason by a guy in a pimped out M3. Guess he was used to being the center of attention in traffic? :)
If the dealer won't let you sit in one, take your business elsewhere.
You will definately need a lowering kit. I'm 6'5 and I fit OK with my 1" kit from Northwind... 2" kit would make it 'bout perfect, but the lil' lady needs to be able to fit in the driver's seat as well.
Wasn't this just posted?
Answers from previous thread were something like:
-John and Joe at Barbera in Philly- good guys at a questionable dealership
-"Just take it up to Tators, it's worth it"
-Take it to Heffner down in MD
Barbera does good work but is expensive. I have used them and they seemed to do a good job, however there were several extra miles on my car that didn't quite seem necessary to me. I don't plan on going back.
Re: Viper won\'t start!
This same thing happens to me occasionally and I'm convinced it's the alarm malfunctioning.
Happens to mine every once in a while. In fact, took it to the dealer, they were stumped. It always seems to fix itself after a little while.
