We hope you can make it too! Between posts here, emails, PMs, and phone calls, there's been a lot of interest already!

New Chrysler Owns the Viper - See Below

Paddles and nannies are fine, in the home, but not in the Viper!

Vipers at the Biltmore! August 22-23!

Great question, I'm sure we can work something out! Presumably that's a concern for attending any event that involves more than the two people that a Viper can (lawfully) accomodate. For other cruises, events, etc., people have often brought along an additional vehicle for the kids, or arranged...

Where in NC are you located? If near Wilmington, you might want to get Tom Sessions at D&E to check it out.

Chrysler says it got no offers for Viper plant

Some time back I said I was willing to receive the checks, but for some reason, none have shown up! :dunno:

You can't rely on the media for much other than getting things wrong.

Chrysler says it got no offers for Viper plant

It's amazing that so many on here are able to afford Vipers with the apparently limited reading comprehension. It seems pretty clear that the "Viper building", CAAP, is distinct from the Viper product line. The one offer of $5.5 million that has been made on the building valued at $10 million...

Does 6th gear kill the cluth if going under 120mph

Get yours up to 150+ in 5th, shift into 6th, and see.

How low do you think they will go?

This thread seemed to start out discussing near future values, but diverged to far off prognostications, and it is important to distinguish between these. I seriously doubt we will see any increase (maybe some stabilization) in the near future, and it will be many years before there is any...

Does 6th gear kill the cluth if going under 120mph

Perhaps he means the opposite? Driving under 120MPH in 6th is fine, but really higher speeds and 6th gear don't mix well.

How fast have you driven your Gen IV?

How about on an open track? A track is still not the street, whether "open" or "closed". :dunno:

How fast have you driven your Gen IV?

That's just ridiculous. The lack of logic is simply stunning. It's a good thing people don't need to believe in gravity for it to work, else they would just spin right off the face of the planet with that kind of brain power.

    Tator could have written this

What you are forgetting is the relative bargaining power of the parties, any manufacturer can ratchet up the screws over time through these agreements, and what can the dealers really do? Nothing, they pretty much have to take it, as the alternative is getting dropped, and you can see what the...

    Viper tech looking for work

Presuming he is good and already has a good base of Viper business, his own operation might work. Or he may consider moving somewhere and working at another well-regarded Viper repair facility (there's a few out there).

Chuck I hope and PRAY you are not affected...

Seeing as most if not all Viper extended warranties were bought through Dodge, I wouldn't be surprised if they can only be covered at Dodge facilities (and have never heard of anyone going anywhere else but a Dodge facility for their extended warranty service), though obviously the agreement...

anyone else in NC going to the tail of the Dragon cruise this year?

I've been in touch with some, and think some will be attending. It was great last year, but not sure if I can make it this year due to other obligations, but we'll see!

...which doesn't tell you how much of it is warranty-covered service, nor does it tell you anything about the parts business, namely, whether he could operate in another fashion and still be an authorized parts operation with the same prices.
