Viper tech looking for work

As many of you already know Chrysler is closing alot of dealers. My dad is looking for a new dealership to go to or he is thinking about starting his own garage. He has worked for the same dealer for 30 years. What do you think about starting his own?? Is it a good idea?? Would a lot of viper owners go to him for work?? Thanks for your input

Presuming he is good and already has a good base of Viper business, his own operation might work. Or he may consider moving somewhere and working at another well-regarded Viper repair facility (there's a few out there).

Here in OR, the 3 closest Dodge dealers to me are ON THE LIST..... so Ill soon know how many of you feel with no local Viper tech. Kinda vulnerable feeling.
