Way to go:2tu:. That's part of being a Viper owner is doing a lot of your own diagnostics. This forum helps a lot but sometimes you're on your own if you don't want to pay dealer prices.
Nope, it's not the cross over. The tube design has limitations as to how low the response can get. Have you ever seen an OE (except Scion) or a competition system use tube subwoofers? They just can't get down low enough. If you look up the spec on Bazookas the lowest it goes is 39hz. My...
Don't do it...... I tried a Bazooka and it just didn't sound right. The bass extension doesn't go down as low as a true subwoofer so it always sounded like something was missing. If you don't mind replacing your spare tire it's pretty easy to make an enclosure.
The hole on top is for a...
If you've done it so many times why would you even need a screwdriver? I do it with my fingers now :D I'm just afraid those clips will get loose after a while. I can't seem to find those clips anywhere.
Seriously, get one of those trim tools and it will give you a peace of mind not to crack...
Wow, that's amazing. You must go in Dukes of Hazard style. :rolaugh:
I'm on my fourth battery and have soldered 4 wires in the door. Replaced one door hinge and need to do another and I've only got 26k miles.
There was a guy up in Guelph a few years back. Mike Adams is his name that used to be a Roe dealer. I haven't heard of him in a while so not sure if he does it anymore.
Have you been checking the oil regularly? They have a tendency to blow oil and dry out. Do a search and you'll find many discussions.
Install and reinstall is a simple job. The worst part is getting that bolt underneath the air intake plenum and aligning the injectors. Also make sure the...
Hey, congrats! Welcome to the club :D Now go find some 'Busas and show them who's boss......
Did you take out the cats? I didn't see if you mentioned that. It really helps with the heat.
That's a big @ss intercooler. What size is it?
Hmmm, that's a good idea. Too bad my coater didn't know that trick. And he's supposed to be a professional......
You may have a future in coating Viper valve covers.....:rolaugh:
It's not easy to powder coat magnesium. They off gas so you need to know what you are doing. I did mine a few years ago and it ran me $400. And mine still had some bubbles. There's a lot of history here if you look through the past posts.
If my wife had any idea how fast my car is she would have an instant heart attack. Whenever she's in the car I've never had it past half throttle. Even then she tells me to slow down.
The solution to your dilemma is very simple. Just drive like a grandpa when she's in the car.
Everybody has...
So that means that since our hood cannot open completely forward we really don't need that second latch?.....:hmmm: I've always wondered about that..... Maybe an opportunity for some weight saving or at least less complexity.
Hey man, I hope you do realize that you are referring to people who live and "work" in the Detroit area. There's a good chance that many of these people are in the automotive industry AND there's a good chance that these people may even be intimately involved with Chrysler......
Yes, that's true if it was a new model. Chrysler sometimes gives them fast feedback cars that weren't even built at full production rates. The Viper has been out for how long? So any type of article being written in the past 5-6 years there should be no problem finding a Viper available for...
So you're saying that if C&D wanted a Viper to test and compare that they can't get one? They're based out of Ann Arbor which is only an hour away from Chrysler HQ. Even if corporate didn't want to offer a test vehicle that no one in the Detroit area would volunteer their vehicle to use? I...
