Car and Driver sucks.
It's not just C&D. Basically all the magazines over look the Viper in most of their comparisons. For some reason they don't like to compare it to the Vette. Maybe they don't want to make the Vette look bad since GM probably has a bigger advertising budget than Chrysler.- GTSnake

Clamshell hood on an SRT?
I actually think it's easier to work on my engine with the clamshell. I don't have to worry about scratching up the fenders when I bend over. Of course head clearance is a different issue.- GTSnake

Obviously they pushed the envelope of fiberglass manufacturing. There may be a material in the future that may lend itself to large single pieces that can be manufactured consistently and economically (carbon fiber composite???). It was a manufacturing nightmare. It was probably put into production because the manufacturing engineers got trumped by the designers. They probably got "talked" into doing it. Cross reference for power window switch from another vehicle?
It depends on the year. The early '96 to I believe '98 used a 2 gang K-car switch. Don't ask me the part number.... Flat spot in acceleration
I forgot one last factor. I'm using a Greddy Profec II to control my boost. If I go the SCT route what do I use to control the boost? So I would still use my VEC and Profec along with the SCT for complete management? -
