I thought the module would let you start it but cut off after a few seconds?
I suspect it's something to do with the boost a pump.
Did you check the pump relay fuse in the trunk?
It's good to hear that it wasn't a member but it doesn't surprise me one bit that it was SVS. They have a long history of stiffing people, customers, etc....
Not to blame you at all but you should have had some red flags pop up when they requested. At least the spidey senses should have...
The Generation label was not given by the factory. It is an owner/public label. As far as the factory is concerned they made transitional changes from year to year.
I use a Weldon 255.
With a BG heat sink.
Aeroquipe regulator -10 outbound and -8 return. My injectors are 75lb. I run the pressure between 55 and 58lbs. When I retune it I want to run a higher fuel pressure with higher boost.
If you need to take it to Dick Scott Dodge in Plymouth MI. They have done quite a few repairs on incorrect installs. Mine included.....
BTW, the service manager's name is Rod....:)
Stock Gen II radios hook up to the amp via a DIN connection. Unless you install the amp with the radio it is a PITA to try and hook up to the pin outs on the DIN connector.
You are really better off replacing the system with an aftermarket one. The only downside is you don't get the auto...
I seem to recall when Chrysler sourced Alpine as the supplier they specified full range speakers in the rear and components in the front. The rear speaker is a cheap full range commodity speaker. Basically a place holder.
The term "6.5" speaker" is a very broad term. The actual speaker cone...
Re: thinking about buying a used hennessy 800 turbo kit.... help identifying the turb
I was just thinking of the same thing before I even read the follow up posts. This has "money pit" written all over it.
I wouldn't touch that system if you gave it to me. You may end up spending more in...
Mike, the rear speakers in a GTS are useless. You can't hear anything above 200hz because they're pointed into the front of the tire well. Get the JL 6W3 for low end bass. Otherwise as a full range speaker they're useless.
If you want full range from the rear you could do something like...
I would take them to Wheel to Wheel in Walled Lake. They have a load balancer that is far superior than the normal equipment. A little pricier than normal but for high speed driving it's well worth it. I had my drag radials mounted there and they're silky smooth up to 138mph.
Does this mean the current model will continued to be built? What about the new crash standards that take affect? Does this mean that a new model will need to be designed and launched?
Whenever anyone wants money with a time limit the red flags start flying. You may be better off letting this one go. There will always be another one that comes along possibly even better.
Hmmm, an MD AND a Viper owner.:headbang: I think Chad is going to have stiff competition.
I'm looking forward to all of the Hooters and Nopi pictures now... :lmao:
During Mardi Gras you could use the line SMYT and get a ride on the snake....:D
From what I can remember, they are not rated at anymore than 6 or 8lbs. At 10lbs you are looking at a rebuild very quickly. You also generate more heat at 10lbs. So of course you can put one on at your own risk but you should be prepared for the consequences.
And I thought oil was already thousands of years old. How could it have a shelf life? :dunno:
Cooking oil I can understand since it's organic but petroleum is not so how would it ever expire?
