    i think i read somewhere that the piston and connecting rods are from the 6.1 hemi and are diffrent from the 8.3 viper.

    i was at dc dyno day and an 08 with belangers put down i think 567 rwhp and i did 515 stock so awsome gain from exhaust package.

    horsepower looks about right,maybe the torque should be higher but you got some nice #rs

    i doubt you can get 175 hp with just exhaust and head package,maybe 75 imo.if i remeber factory stated engine was at max horsepower anything internally may give.i would go just belanger exhaustpackage and 355 gears.

    after doing a burn out in my 06 and doing one in the 08 i feel the 06 held up stronger less clutch smell.also what is that sound from the belt area when you rev it high like a whinning sound when engine is hot.but overall i love the clutch feel on the 08 and everything else about the 08 bad ass...

    cluctches should be covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles and brakes for the same thing for a new car.i have noticed that the clutch in the 08 is not as strong as the 06.

    too bad theres no product like hypertech for the gen 4 viper/a friend of mine has a z06 before and after dyno he gained close to 30hp by just a plug in.seems like for us gen 4 to gain 30 at the wheels we need to spend 5k plus for exhaust system.

    Loud noise from the Thermostat houseing??

    onmy 08 when temperatue outside is hot and engine is warm and if i go over 5000 rpms i hear a whinning noise from the fan area.
