    Fans Not Working

Thanks to Steve-Indy, I found the relays right off the bat. He is correct in that the manual, at least for the '98, shows the relays in the wrong spot. Troubleshooting is easy with the right diagrams as I found out when Joeseph Dell sent me the right ones and also a troubleshooting flowchart...

Oil Pan Leak on 97 GTS

I started the thread that the Wizard refers to above. I'm still fighting my oil leak. I've tried the RTV-on-the-bolt thread trick and even replaced the pan gasket and the pan itself. Unless It's just coincidental that I got another porous pan, I don't think that is the issue. I've pretty...

    Radiator Fan Electrical Troubleshooting

So I'm going through and checking out the fan control system to ensure the fan is kicking on when its suppose to after having an episode last week while sitting at a stop light and the temp gage went beyond where it normally goes. The fan didn't kick in and after rolling at 35 to 45 mph, the...

    Fan Issue??

The only thing I did was change out the oil pan but I don't see how that would have anything to do with this. Also, I've already had to pull the timing chain cover and replace the gasket because of an external oil leak issue after putting the ROE SC on. That was about 1,000 miles ago. No...

    Fan Issue??

Thanks for the headsup on that. I was getting ready to pull the blower housing.

    Fan Issue??

Thanks. I read the manual in detail and confirmed that one sensor does it all. The relays appear to be under the blower motor so I'll check those when I get a chance. Can the dealer use their diagnostic tool to manually signal the PCM to turn the fan on in both speeds? That would confirm the...

    Carbon Fibre Cowl.....

I have the SVS. Beautiful piece. $415 shipped is what I believe I paid. It's not a cover. It replaces the original. You have to drill the holes for wiper motor shafts, washer hoses and mountng screws though.:omg: There are indents where the holes go.

    Ebay experience?

Ebay is great for buying cars but suck if you're trying to sell one. Nearly everybody bargain hunts on Ebay and if the prospective buyer doesn't feel like he(she) is stealing it, they won't buy. Just my experience for the last 8 1/2 years on Ebay. I personally have bought 5 cars off of Ebay in...

    Clear pieces on front fascia

There is a place locally that sprays a clear coating on to these vunerable areas. A friend of mine with a C5 Vette had it done and it looks really good. Actually looks like the original clear stick ons I had on mine until I peeled them off to repaint the front facia. I too am needing something...

    Seats are redone and in.

Looks Great! I agree with the stitching. It sets it off. I'm in the same boat as you. No Chad. Can't come around to spending the big bucks for the Venanzo. Local guy will be doing my interior shortly. Thanks for the pics and when you get other pieces done, post 'em!

    Symptoms of failing Waterpump?

Are you sure you have the heater on heat? I know it sounds stupid, but the Viper heat controls aren't the same as on most other cars. You can have the selector on outside vent with the temp knob turned all the way to heat but you'll still get cold air. The selector has to be on the footwell...

    Video of Front Fascia Repair

If you use good paint and the right blender, you can spot blend a repair pretty easy. Metallic flake is harder to blend than a solid color though. I just got finished repainting the lower portion of my front facia. Upper portion didn't need it. I had major scratches, as most everyone has at...

    Viper prices

Maybe I'm out of the norm but if I was in the market for a Viper and ran across one with a Venanzo interior that was tastefully done, I'd be willing to pay a little extra if I had to. But that's just me............

    Replacing Water Pump

You don't have to unbolt the intake just to take off the water pump either, do you? I know you have to in order to replace the thermostat.
