    Disrespecting the Viper

^^After watching the video now for the 200th time, you actually get that feeling!! They are almost tired and frustrated to say that the Viper won yet another catagory of their tests. They are almost bored with the victories and want some other vehicle to win!

    Disrespecting the Viper

During the late 90's, Motor Trend magazine loved the Gen.II RT-10 and GTS. It seems, as the Viper progressed into the Gen.III/IV, it was forgotten about. Less media attention for sure! Maybe because it would have so many out right wins, such as the GTS in this video, that it would make for...

    DD Vipers

Do a search on the topic! Plenty of threads on this very topic. Keep in mind what your Mercedes was built for vs what any Generation Viper was built for. Two very different vehicles to compair.

Nitto Invo tires for Gen III - Gen IV - Speed rating issue!

Fastguy, I'm all for driving these vehicles the way they were meant to be driven. The track has it's dangers just like the street, however we are talking about a controlled environment vs an unknown one. I wasn't trying to offend you, questioning your speed addiction yes :headbang:, however...

Nitto Invo tires for Gen III - Gen IV - Speed rating issue!

Have to agree 100%! I have them on my 360 Forged Split 7's on the Viper, also had them on my ZO6. Street tire at best, anything else, autocross/roadcourse/track, I would intrust in a better overall tire.

Nitto Invo tires for Gen III - Gen IV - Speed rating issue!

Am I serious? Are you serious is a better question? If your doing anywhere near 168MPH on the STREET, once again, STREET in your "Fast" cars, then I think you have more issues then what your speed rating on your tires are! Besides you having ample space where you live, hitting an animal at...

    Gen3 Paxton -vs- TT

There is a reason why so many 1000 RWHP Turbo builds end up for sale shortly after they are completed. You really have to know if that is the path you wanna travel. Like anything else, higher levels of power go hand in hand with higher costs to build, higher chances of parts breaking and...

Nitto Invo tires for Gen III - Gen IV - Speed rating issue!

When were you planing to do 168MPH anyway? Even if this was a desire for an owner, lets say on a autocross event where speeds of that caliber could be reached, would anyone pick a Nitto Invo to do so? Most would in trust on a better tire to begin with, the Nitto Invo is a great street tire for...

Talk me down off the ledge

I can appreciate your opinion! Vipers are NOT for everyone. As stated above, they are purpose built street race cars. They don't make any excuses for what they aren't. If your looking for a creature comfort based sports car/GT car, buy a Mercedes Benz, BMW, Maserati etc.

    Thank you Dodge....

The GT-R has been plagued by transmission issues. I did a good amount of research on them before my Viper purchase. Thank God I never really pursued that vehicle! Great numbers from it but having it at Nissan more then my own garage wasn't for me.
