"Call Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse or Chuck Tator, IF you want to find out what the real trade in might be.."
I know a lot of you guys all love the people at Woodhouse.... but I called over there and spoke with Bill a few months back re: a new SRT. Got this about my modified (bout $20K worth)...
That's a great number. I guess the model year does back it off a bit even though it is a new car.
Funny how insane some dealers still are. I was on the phone with one and he said "anyone thinking they can buy this car for under $90,000 is kidding themselves!".
"Well, there's four or five...
I can't see how the GT is going to run the numbers all the rags are projecting. 500/500 and I have seen the projected weight now near 3,400. If GM does build a 500 HP Vette, close to the 3,000 some are projecting, at $55-$60k it will smoke the GT.
I believe the engine for the new Ford GT comes from a truck as well. It's such a stupid criticism. But it was all the Corvette guys could come up with back then when the $55,000 Viper was out performing the $70,000 ZR-1. The result? Bye bye ZR-1. Maybe GM should have tried a truck engine in...
Shhhhh Steve cause DC has already LISTENED TO YOU! They are hard at work and you will get your fix when they have the time to finish it!! keeping flickin the switch 20 times an hour and quit bitchin about it or we not not even have a Viper to buy!!
Just say "thank you" and drive on (hopefully...
You know I never thought it was until I drove an 03 SRT. The effort was so minimal compared to my stock Gen1 set-up. Same with the accelerator. Felt like it would take some getting used to.
"I don't know about that. I'd rather be Hef, Hugh not Jason."
I said CAR mans dream... Hef has lived EVERY mans dream, period. But he never even gets dressed. I have never seen anything about his cars.
I hear that Jason is pretty cool too though!
