Anyone else find mice in their sidepipes?

Is your Viper being stored in an attached garage? I have not had this problem yet with any of my vehicles *knock on wood* but have been looking for solutions in the event I run into this problem. There seems to be so much conflicting information as to what works and what does not. I have...

    Power brake bleeder

The Motive bleeder is a good solution. Check this thread for some more details. http://www4.forum.viperclub.org/showflat...true#Post544171

    Track day question

I have always known trail braking as the simple act of staying on the brakes while entering a corner. Any application of gas and brake simultaneously would be more effectively tied to heel toeing. I have never been taught to use the left foot in applying brakes, however, I suppose there are...

    Rear end leak

It is not nearly as daunting of a task as it sounds. In fact, if you know any of the Denver VCA members, you might offer a case of beer and ask someone to help you change it out. If you were closer, I would certainly give you a hand.

    Rear end leak

I looked at the thread title and thought to myself, "this sounds like a personal problem." :) I'm assuming you are talking about the rear differential leaking? If so, at $500, that is an expensive job. Admittedly, I have never replaced the rear differential gasket in a Viper specifically...

I'll take one of the Gen II's if they are available!

Tire Question - How old is too old

European auto manufacturers suggest replacing any tire 6 years after production including the spare tire. I feel this is a good rule of thumb especially for vehicles where spirited driving is more commonplace. It is strange to think that the majority of the questions posed about tire...

 I was wondering if that was someone on this board. Yes, that was me trying to enjoy the last few warm days we will have this year. I had the car inspected that morning at Montrose Dodge. Very nice Viper tech there who passed me with flying colors. Are you planning on going to the VCA...

Clear bras.......for a Viper of course!!

Price varies by make and installer. I have heard estimates ranging from $300 all the way up to $1,000 depending on coverage - some people go a little crazy and practically cover the entire car in plastic. I don't mind the front end and side view mirrors, but beyond that I start to think of...

    B&M Ripper question.

Yes, it is about an inch shorter IIRC. In fact, I believe there is an illustrated guide on the "howto" section.

    Help a Brother out?

 Wow...at that price, I'm almost tempted to buy 2 Vipers in 2 weeks!

:p I was waiting for this gif. I tried uploading, but it appears the site is still undergoing some rennovation. I will attempt to upload a picture this evening using an alternate host.

In all honesty, if you were a little closer, I would have probably purchased yours. I will inspect the door this evening to see if I can locate anything around the door. Maybe I'll try activating the alarm with the door ajar. If the switch is signaling a closed condition, it would allow the...

For those of you who read my previous post a few days ago, I purchased my 01 Sapphire GTS this weekend. What an experience! Literally 5 minutes into my return trip, I had people in their vehicles taking pictures of me and the car. I had to cover a little over 400 miles on my return trip, so I...

    Swirl Prevention ?

If you have never used an orbital before, I caution those attempting to use it for the first time unless it is a random orbit polisher like the Porter Cable. Too aggressive of a pad and product can burn through the clear coat.

    fair price for my car

I would list for $58k and accept a range between that and the $56k. The other thing that I would suggest is removing the mods and selling separately. Collectively, they add very little to the value, but taken off, you could easily recover the $62k you are asking.

    Wow!

Is that time frame correct? The travel time required to get back and forth would almost eclipse the amount of time spent in Germany. I'm with Joe, I would ask for the expense of the trip to be deducted from the bottom line.

    Swirl Prevention ?

The easiest way to prevent swirls is washing the vehicle using a two bucket method to remove dust and debris instead of using a quick detail spray or california duster when possible. Since I have started using the two bucket method, I have seen a noticeable decrease in the number of swirls on...

Thought I would introduce myself after nearly two years of lurking. After a somewhat half hearted search for a Gen II coupe for a year and a half, I really began looking in earnest the last few months to migrate from that of enthusiast to owner. I was able to track down a low mileage 01...
