Gas Lid Bubbles? Help?
Chrome is too shinny IMO MGW is a gawdy piece of rice IMO Stock with the clearcoat sanded off and the aluminum polished down to whatever sheen suits your personal taste is another option. I like mine with a satin/brushed finish, Like 1000grit or so. You do have to maintain it...- Dom426h

Right. That kinda defeats the purpose of the flexjoint where it is. lol I'd unbolt that mount, like i did on mine. The flexjoint can still have a benifit in that position though. The exhaust does grow by some amount(DaveXXXX measured it) from cold to hot. The flex could help keep the exit...- Dom426h

The reason is because the aftermarket headers delete the stock flex pipe. Our torquey V10's move around alot twisting the exhaust system. Most of us dont worry about it though...- Dom426h

Installed HID 55w Headlight Kit
Right, the brighter an HID gets the more the color washes out to a lower temp, So a 55w 6K might look similar in color to a 35w 5K. Differs from manufacture-to-manufacture though. Venom facia? the standard 35w versions of HID's offer plenty of additional lumins over stock lighting. I am annoyed when people come up behind me on the road with extra bright HID's and i can only assume they are running 55'ers... Im pretty sure the 55's are technically illegal for road use. warped exhaust manifold
I don't understand the "visual inspection" thing... A. There is a heat shield blocking view of the headers B. Even if they see it, How would they know the diff between and aftermarket header vs the tubular header that came on the later Gen2's?- Dom426h

Gen V seats in our cars.....
Yes they are very nice looking in the fancy GenV interior but i think they'd clash with the raw/minimalistic Gen1/2 interior. Also, i'd rather have a more functional aftermarket seat for a fraction of the price.(corbeau, cobra, recaro, sparco, ect...)- Dom426h

Tom's rear brake upgrade worth it???? also which pads?
EBC Red & Hawk HPS Is what i have tried so far. I remember when switching from whatever ??? was previously on my Viper to the EBC Red's noticing what felt like less braking power. Then again i guess the bottom line is that i was still able to readily lock up the wheels when doing performance...- Dom426h

96-97 had a diff intake manifold gasket than the later years. Sometime in late 97 they switched to the updated unit. The old ones could potentially develop a leak earlier than usual and can be easily identified by seeing the waviness between the runners. Checking the price the gaskets are...- Dom426h
