How long will Dodge continue making Gen 1 and 2 spare parts?
I believe they are legally required to provide spare parts for 7 years after production. So we are right at the point where they no longer *have* to provide Gen-1 engines (or Gen-1 side sills, for that matter). I know Chrysler had a few Gen-1 engines left last year. VOI.7 solo?
My experience has been that if the person you're taking isn't completely APE-$h!+ over Vipers, you're better off going alone. And take lots of $$$$ (for Viper stuff).- dblankenbaker

Spring/Shock Choices, help
Before I went to the double-adjustable Penskes, I bought a set of lowering spring caps from Snake Oyl ($300 a set of four, a few years ago). I cranked up the rebound on the shocks while I was at it. Idle Hang
FinalGTS: that is normal for every Viper. The idle "hang" (as it occurs on my girlfriend's '96 GTS) is when the idle stays at 1,700 rpm even when sitting at a stop. Are the rear Koni Shocks adjustable on a 95 RT/10?
Yes. Rebound is adjustable, but you have to remove the springs to do it. Compress the shock all the way until you feel the adjuster engage (you'll know it when you feel it). Twist clockwise all the way (about 2-3/4 turns) to set max rebound in the rear.- dblankenbaker

Lost my Power Steering Fluid Reservoir cap - - Any for sale ?
$9.95 at Pep Boys. I think it's labeled "Jeep" or "Jeep Cherokee" but it looks identical in all ways to the Viper cap. I keep mine safety wired to the hard part of the high pressure line... and yes I keep a spare on the trailer.- dblankenbaker
