With nothing on it, the post is plumb. The lift is and does "lean" with the weight of the car. It is a bit unsettling at first.
I talked to the BendPak engineers and they say that it is designed to lean as much as 1 1/2". With the ACR up there it leans 3/4". I have done work on the car...
After seeing Treesnakes single post and emailing him, I too bought the BendPak single post lift.
It is ideal for my garage layout.
As far as working on the car, the center panels come out and it is easy to do things like oil changes and other simple things.
I also have a BendPak 2 post lift...
Have a great and safe trip !
Where in So Cal are you planning on visiting and when?
Shoot me a PM and maybe we can get a bunch of the SoCal Vipers to meet up with you.
Call JonB.........
I just helped a friend install an ACR wing on his '06 coupe which he got from JonB.
It was relatively easy to do, just took some nerves to drill through the decklid.
My '09 had the rattle and it drove me nuts !!!!
I finally got a small slot screwdriver and popped the defroster vent that is in the center of the dash up. (It comes out really easy)
Reach down inside the vent and you will feel the air-duct. It will likely be loose.
Mine just needed to be...
Re: I am now an uncle and godfather.. A list of GEN II Viper toys, baby clothes neede
Congratulations !!
Being an Uncle is great. :2tu: You get to influence the kids in the Viper way.
How old is the baby boy?
One of the best ways to choose an exhaust is to see/hear the cars in person.
We'll have 20 -30 vipers heading to Big Bear next weekend. It would be a great time to see/hear some of the options.
Hi David and Welcome to the Club !
As our KC brother's mentioned, check out the local SoCal Viper club site SoCal Viper
We have a bunch of great events coming up and would love to have you join us.
There is a good write up on how to remove the side sills in the Illustrated upgrade section

Does anyone know what type of adhesive is used to "glue" the insulation to the inside of the side sills?
It appears that the factory uses some sort of black adhesive in a few spots to hold it in.
Hey Robert !
Glad to hear you are coming to SoCal. I'll call a few guys and see if anyone will be going. I'll head down for sures. I know a lot of guys are going to the Long Beach Grand Prix.
Spend the night and come to the Dukes brunch and run on Sunday morning. Details are on the SoCal...
There is definitely a hole there. I took a bolt and threaded it in from the exhaust side inward enough to raise the carpet and the cut it with the knife. Very simple to find that way.
Using a small screwdriver, I popped up the vent grill. It's really hard to see in there, but I could reach in with my fingers and felt that it was completely loose in there. I just kinda wiggled it around and pushed it down and forward to re-seat it.
Rattle gone........for now
