Track Time - the last for the year....
Unbelievably - there's another track day tomorrow (Sunday Nov. 7th). Who knew the weather would be this good? It's an event run by Track Techniques (I will be there.....). I think the cost is $200 but, if you're interested, call me before you head out to the track. I just need to confirm...- fireball

thursday night get together.
Those tires are lame a$$ - some of the very worst I've been on at the track. I was showing Steve the line - not fast. Nowhere near fast - really just showing him the line - not even really accelerating or braking and the back end slid out(just a little bit - easy catch). I couldn't believe...- fireball

My new toy
Those guys are the coolest guys ever! Vipers are cars - and cars are for driving. They obviously don't live in the best place for a Viper owner but they're enjoying their cars anyway.:drive: AWESOME! BTW, It's important to me that everyone knows I WAS NOT the guy redressing his tires...- fireball

Yea Ralph! :can1: One more thing about marketing Ralph as the face of the brand. Dieter Zetsche had a very distictive and distinguished look - perfect. Ralph is (according to my lovely wife) very attractive. Dark skin and blue eyes - he'll sell well. Greg- fireball

I don't know. I always thought it was best to leave the car resting on it's wheels. You might park it on something like 4pieces of plywood so the tires are off the concrete - I really don't know. Greg- fireball

Well.... I'm still riding my bike! And I never put my car away. Calgary has pretty mild winters and the Chinooks keep the roads pretty clear. When the roads are cold it's just like having a few hundred extra horsepower. Shane, why do you take the wheels off? Isn't it best to store the...- fireball

It's a bad wire for sure. Either that or a burned out signal light. One of the two. Greg PS you guys can run compression tests until the cows come home but it still won't tell you the wires need replacing!- fireball

I think the problem is the #1 wire. These are all the symptoms of a bad wire. Seriously. Your first concern is the dealership. THEY ARE RIPPING YOU OFF! I sure hope the coffee is good. If there is another dealership in your area, try them - they can't be as bad as the one you've been...- fireball

VOI-Farewell Dinner

Brake pad suggestion
What's wrong with the OE pads? I managed to set a lap record with the OE stuff - they're actually pretty good - and they don't squeal. If you track your car a lot then I'd say live with the noise but if you only do 5 or 6 lapping events a year then I'd stay with the stock pads. Greg- fireball

One of a Kind Viper - Funny Video
Geoff Amon was the driver. He has a one of a kind blue coupe with no stripes. You'll see him at Race City quite a bit. It could be shorter but the number of cars is staggering. We did less than half the parking garage! Greg- fireball

Top Gear hates Verts
I've driven, and owned both. My comments apply to the track. In my opinion there is no difference in handling - at least none that's detectable by the driver. New SSG ACR
BTW, Until VOI 11 I'd only ever seen 1 other ACR and that was at Infineon. Your's was the first ACR I'd ever seen in Canada - besides mine. Cool! Greg- fireball
