I had a great day too! It's nice to have some Vipers there for a change.... I'm constantly surrounded by Corvettes, so having some backup is nice. self alignment tools, what's needed
It's not as nice as the digital one, but this is what I use. Caster/Camber Gauges - Longacre C/C Gauge Less Adapt W/Case I use one with a magnetic base on my race car but my ACR needs this too. They work quite well but honestly, I'd go with the digital one. Caster/Camber Gauges -...- fireball

Steve, The track is open the entire day - from 9:00 till 4:00 pm. Stop by anytime - just pull into the pit lane area and find me to pay. It's $200 for the day (or portion of the day). Grand America Hotel
Well - all these accolades for the hotel..... For the record, I had a MAJOR problem with Grand America. I couldn't get my wife out of the room she loved it so much! I've had the pleasure of staying at some fine hotels but this just might be the nicest. And the price! Fantastic! Greg- fireball

redlined bad now not running right
Yep. I've seen it before (albiet not in a Viper). It get's damaged and causes the crank position sensor to go nuts. The motor runs like crap one minute then fine the next. This seems to be his issue. I know damn sure it wasn't the plug wires. Whatever it is, I'd like to know once it...- fireball

VOI --- Track Day at Miller Motorsports Park!!!
Well - much track time was indicated and there basically was none. I did 8 laps at a speed that required zero braking. Basically a parade. I went as slow as the slowest car in our group which was obviously a 'first time on the track' guy. I pulled into pit lane to make a gap but that...- fireball

As a driving instructor - 'he did know he had slicks and that the road was wet, right?' If it was a track day it would be a mistake but at a competitive event where you push for every MPH stuff like that will happen. Racing is at the edge - track days are quite a bit away from the edge...- fireball
