additional remote was ~$20 and two minutes to program if you have one working. I agree on a viper tech looking at the car and intend to get my viper Tatorized later this year for piece of mind...but $145 is a bit high for that part
I just swapped my stock gen3 cat back for a gen 4 takeoff. Muffler is stamped with same part number, crossover eliminated plus one extra clamp on each side.
sounds like a healthy Viper presence in this area. Yours wouldn't happen to be the red rt10 that was running around town with an unpainted hood this past summer?
Anyone want my stock '06 Exhaust (catback) includes 2 mufflers, crossover and piping? Car had 5,500 miles on it, all clamps included, no rust or damage.
If no one takes it I may hang it on the garage wall / store it in the basement for "originality" or drop it by a scrap yard. I swapped to a...
Thanks Tony - I was going to take my Viper out this afternoon but there was rain on the radar and I didn't feel like parking her at Lowes.
It'd be great to meet up with other CT Viper owners and even go for a cruise - the tunnel is always fun!
Has anyone looked into making a custom Side Skirt that includes the currently triangular shaped side vent just infront of the drivers door and behind the front tires on the Gen3/4 that is rounded to match the rear of the car and be similar to that on the Gen1/2/5 cars?
I was looking up at my...
I used Gran Turismo ... Ask for Mark. My Viper ws treated well and shared the ride with Italian toys. Pricing was very reasonable Fl to Ct.
Make sure you price straps only no chains on frame.
12k for $50k sounds fair. I paid a bit more for my no stories 5k mile car. I learned in my search ~$2-3k in the bank isn't going to change your life but it sure can change the quality of a $50k+ viper that owning will change your life.
I just picked my 2006 Blue/White First Edition Coupe up in December with 5k miles and I am the second owner. mint car I just finished detailing the underside and wheel wells this weekend while she hibernates on the lift with fresh fluids and battery tender hooked up.
Not planning to sell as I...
Does anyone have a pic of stone guards / "mud flaps"on their srt 10 coupe? I'm considering getting a pair for my Blue/White coupe but am hesitant without seeing how it would look first.
Thats the one step I left out last month so I added stabil today to my full tank before a 5 mile burst around town today to circulate the gas and get fluids temps up and moving.
My 06 coupe has been up on the lift and under the cover plugged into the battery tender for just one month and I'm ready to take her out to get the fluids moving and enjoy the 55° day.
Anyone else taking their snakes out this weekend in the north east?
Got my '06 FE Coupe the last week of December 2011 with 5,180 miles. Had a few weeks to take her out early January and now in storage up on the lift with cover on and battery tender hooked up at 5,450.
Still not sure yet if she will be a garage queen or not - we'll see in the spring.
Not sure how long you've had your lift for but your locking bars are installed incorrectly. There should not be that kind of twist to the locking tube. If you notice the horizontal tube that runs through the eye hook in the front and rear of the lift connecting to the T Bar. The long piece in...
Avoided temptation to take mine off the lift this weekend. Need to put the cover on to further reduce the urge to take the 06 Coupe for a drive.
Is it April yet?
Thanks - funny enough I called Roberts Dodge on RT5 in Meriden today as they are listed on the Emissions testing page and the service guy said they don't do Vipers and suggested I go to a body shop not far away in Wallingford. I'll go with your suggestion.
Where do CT viper owners get their emissions tested?
I'm very skeptical of just going to any testing facility and handing them the keys. Anyone in central CT have an emissions testing facility they have had a positive experience with?
Thanks for the replies. Nice setup V10enomous!
I really need the narrower overall width due to garage specs or else I would have gone with the rotary revolution. My only concern was 165" run way length and a 175" long Viper. I am using this lift for storage and oil changes.
Hopefully it...
