A small tweak of the alignment may help you out with the steering. I had an issue with mine especially on deeply grooved roads and the alignment guy tweaked the toe on the front wheels and it's wonderful now. He said the caster and camber were correct for the street. Old guy with racing...
I would like to add that people will tell you that you can use soapy water or detailing spray for the "lubricant". That is true. HOWEVER, using soapy water will remove a number of other things like the silicones and other lubricants in the paint. Always use detail spray, and don't be stingy...
It wasn't long ago that Castrol got boinked for false advertising in that their "synthetic" oil actually wasn't. Rather than actually going synthetic, they [ castrol and their owners ] got the definition of synthetic changed because they use an extra refining step in their petroleum oils and...
I've got the M&M's and the MOPAR racing exhaust on my 06 coupe. It sounds pretty good actually. My SRT10 Ram with long tubes and catless header back sounds really mean.
I do think that tube length makes a difference, but the mild steel headers like M&M make for a nicer sound.

The VEC is yet another bandaid. It sits between the car and the PCM .. If the VEC fails, the PCM doesn't get the proper signals and NO START.
Good luck.

If you're running winblowz and **cough-choke** IE then you are hanging out a huge come hack me sign. Geeze.
At a minimum quit using IE and use a real browser like FireFox. If you want to be secure run Linux and run FireFox in a virtual session. And BTW on the exact same computer Linux will...
While I'd never recommend die-hard to anyone, some people have luck with them. Too many failures and 1 explosion is enough for me.
The best thing to place under the battery is a product called battery-mat ... It's available at most parts stores and even wally world. The fabric is treated...
Detectors / jammers are simply *tools* ... They are as good as the person using them. None of them will allow you to drive past a cop at 100mph and not get busted. Remember they can write excessive speed tickets without a number, simply because the cop thinks so. Maybe one day they'll invent...
Florida, la nina winter, drier than usual, and it appears that it's going to be another unusually cold one like last year -- we're running 10 - 20'F below average. Global warming my a$$ ... But another awesome winter for cruising!

All Vipers are speed density systems. They DO NOT have MAF's ...
Use a balanced wet shot and you'll be fine. Trying to cheap it here will cause a meltdown literally.

I think I ran a couple hundred miles before they settled in and I could actually see with my mirrors. They do calm down, just give it a few miles. You'll love the difference in the car.

I've been reading this thread with great interest. It appears that the big point, folks like Dan understand implicitly, and most miss is that the VEC is simply a bandaid that provides bogus input to the PCM to make it accommodate something that's way, way far away from what it was designed to...
Remember that *ALL* gas comes from the same pipeline and the additive packages are pretty tightly controlled by fed regulation. That said, the biggest bang [pun intended ] comes from the gas with the least ethanol. I use Sams gas [ Murphy Oil ] in all my cars and have never ever had an issue...
I bought a complete Unirax rear end with a Quaife and 3.55's. It takes some machine work for the Quaife to be used, but it's very much worth it.
If you buy an assembly put together by a reliable source, the R&R is actually a DIY project that will take an afternoon.
This is the way I'd...
I put the Woodhouse engine and trans mounts in my '06 coupe. I had a bit of additional vibration that lasted about 500 miles then it calmed down and it's back to normal. The biggest difference is the shifts are far better and the car feels stiffer.

And the belts are easy to get just about anywhere and they are fairly cheap, no Viper tax ! I think the last couple I bought were $26 each. I got them at the corner parts store.

I did a before and after with the x-metal and actually the results were indeterminate ... I did see a few HP gains with the BBK and FastMan. But again within the delta you normally see between runs.
What I did see was differences in throttle response and the BBK and FastMan were way better in...
MarcRoth : I did one for my SRT10 RAM and one for the GenIII Viper. The blade isn't taper cut, both had rough edge cuts on the blade. I got the truck one to work okay but the Viper never did work fine and it had an ability to stick once it got hot. I did the paper alignment on both and that...
I've done an x-metal [ won't do again! ] a BBK and a FastMan ... The BBK and FastMan are both really good.
[-The Fastman-] theFastman.com specializing in Dodge Performance Parts
FastMan is my preference.
